Firmware update 2.40 – 2.41

I know I’m a little late putting this up see how it was released earlier this month. This was the firmware that finally gave us the in game XMB. I loved the fact that you can now finally read your messages and what not from anywhere in a game without having to exit the game. I also like the ingame music feature that should have been in there to begin with. But what im really happy about is the new playstation trophy system that was implimented. It will give your game more value since you have another reason to play the game now. I allready got 13 trophies. This is only stage one of the in game XMB updates so we will see whats in store.

Its been said that cod4 will not support trophies and that is really disappointing

Aren’t trophies just a ripoff of the 360’s achievements?

Probably. The new dashboard for 360 is supposed to rip the Sony Home concept though.

Actually when the PS3 was released the very first video avalible for download was ps3 trophies in HOME so I dont think so…But the trophy system is suppost to go above and beyond where it is now just wait and see
