Yeah, sooo I don’t know why I typed “phone,” but I meant “vote,” LOL.

 

And for some homosexual reason unbeknownst to me, I can’t edit my previous post. It seems we can’t do it after a certain amount of time has past… which sucks. I’m guessing that got changed at the same time the “This post was last edited by” thing was added in.

they use to be on the server whats wrong with it now?? but anyone of the 3 maps would be goood

Yeah those maps failed hard.

 

oilrig, cbble and maybe italy is mainly all that needs to be replaced

It’s because I wasn’t in the server to play! If I srsly was able to play right now, I’d be sitting in the server on those maps and trying to get it populated. I love piranesi and chateau.

Its not just that, when we go to maps like that from lets say….d2 or fy_snow, people immediately complain, rtv or just leave. It will go from 20 people in the server to about 6 in 2-3 mins when we switch maps. This happens on maps like oilrig, italy, cbble.

 

Watch HLSW and wait for it to change to one of the maps, people bail as soon as they come up

Honestly i think it will come down to, do we want a fun rotation that all the regular enjoy or do we want a standard D2/office/inferno only rotation that will keep the server full

If I had to choose one, I’d vote for the latter, but I thought our rotation was usually like that anyway. We might have like one or two custom maps at a time and that’s it.

ive added a new version of sk to the server… its “scoutzknivez1” so try it out and play with it…. its not the same but its hella good imo

 

once nickname helps me out with my ftp nubness ill have a new rotation up and ill post it here once up

I like cs_deagle5. Since some people don’t like it, maybe it should be shortened to 15 minutes. I don’t like scoutzknivez1 though. I played it for the first time yesterday with 10 other people and after the first 3 minutes, everyone in the server typed ‘rtv’. I wish there could’ve been more discussion among the admins + regulars over the construction of the new map rotation. =(

well i really only took out the maps that are causing the server to fail, and i added back a SK. I didn’t know if its fail or not so that why im asking people to go play it and get back to me. i personally enjoyed it, but like i said its nothing like the normal SK.

 

I can lower deag5 to 15 mins, i thought thats where it was. Ill double check all the map times in that case.

 

this isnt the rotation that i promised you sticky :/ i have an idea to have 2 separate rotations at once; one in the day that is generally d2/office/snow/inferno and then around 8-9 at night it switches to a larger rotation with lots of variety. i just gotta find a good plug in for it

 

The rotation with all the maps that you guys love will be the larger one since most of you play in the evening, and the regular d2/office and such rotation will be simple and during the day to encourage more people to come play.

I thought scoutzknivez1 would be similar to the original one but yea it’s totally different. I liked the old one a lot better! Hmm what happened to de_westwood? Does that map work yet? Yesterday when the server was practically empty I put up a vote for de_westwood but the map didn’t work. I think it said something like “the map file could not be found.” However when you type “maps *” in console, de_westwood is one of the maps on the list. Weird…

I don’t know if you have seen it, but there is a votemap plug that can vote if you want a custom map or standard map.

when it’s 4 min left you vote:

 

1. Standard Map

2. Custom/fun map

 

 

then you have like

 

 

1. de_dust2

2. de_aztec

3. cs_office

4. cs_italy

 

or

 

1. scoutzknivez

2. cs_assault_upc

3. he_dodgeball

4. fun_allinone

 

bla bla bla crap *edited* bla bla

 

but then you need to have like 20 standard maps and 20 custom and 20 fun/train maps…

 

I cant remember if it was darktower that were using this,
