*CS:S MYTHS: (debunked?)*

Hey guys,

 

so I’ve heard some silly stuff about CS:S and my online searching abilities are terrible cause I can’t find any answers to either of these. So I’m curious to hear what you have to say. So Please post something you’ve heard or are curious about, and if you think you might know the answer to some of these. Please let us know (and post link?).

 

Please keep the numbering in order to help keep track of which myth is which and who’s answering what.

Silencing the M4 will make it more accurate however it detracts from the firepower (damage) it will inflict on the target. And of course the opposite: An un-silenced M4 is less accurate but will do more damage on the intended target.

As a terrorist if you explode with the bomb at the end of the round you will spawn with a higher monetary bonus.

LuckySeven is unable to sufficiently use any gun in Counter Strike Source accept for the AWP.

I have heard #1 before but I don’t know how much truth there is to it. I am pretty sure if you shoot them in the head with either a silenced or regular m4 then it will one shot them…AIM FOR THE HEAD YO!

#1 is false Crazy. If the bomb explodes you get 1400, if it’s planted and defused you get 800 based on the plant.

 

#2 is completely false. The damage the m4 does is based on whether or not you have a helmet. No M4 will kill you in 1 bullet if you have a helmet AK will regardless of Helmet or not.

 

#3 Lucky is terrid with all guns besides Awp/Deeg

As near as I can tell, the M4 doesnt have as much barrel rise with the silencer on. If that is true, it would make it more accurate.

The silencer will mask the gun flash, and make ur gun quiet. It seems to me there needs to be a trade off to it…
