So it looks like it is A tundra, not the same one that i remember, but it has some really nice ice features in it. we should at least try it out.

Could we do a weapon vote at the beginning of each round? Just 4 or 5 random weapons, people select it, it gives it, and then that is all there is for the round. Would that be possible?
I don’t have enough time to code that into the weapon mod and it seems like it would make the rounds last a long time. Although I am planning on editing the weapons mod in the future.
I believe we were just testing it as a fun night map…
Some admins have the power to switch it to that map if there is enough people wanting to play it tho if it is on the server map list.
On a side note, the VIP maps seem to be ones that everyone on the server has fun with. Try and get a couple more for me to have access to on fun night?
I’m enjoying the VIP map so far, but can anyone remember the name of the map with the huge airplane that you can go inside? I remember playing that one on the WCU server.

Lemm said he’d load the entire stock package of maps for the fun night.
I may or may not be there but I’ll be online and available to help should something go wrong or need fixing.

Anyone remember a map called cold fusion (think thats it)? That could be cool to throw into the fun night, I really liked that map.

As yahoo said, its cs_747, but its a hostie map, not a VIP map. as_Tundra was mentioned before, and looks really nice in source, although it is not the same layout as the original. That is a VIP map.
Did they every make cs_backalley as a source map?
But in terms of VIP maps, i think oilrig and tundra were the top two back in the 1.3 days or so (maybe on to 1.6 as well, but i haven’t played 1.6 very much since source was released).
No, we’re working on setting some other things up… And as for what happened to this .. ballz was supposed to host one on wednesday.. i dunno what happened to that
some of the most fun times we’ve had that i can remember… jugg… THAT HOCKEY MAP!!! BRING THAT BACK!!! I still want to play this wcumap that has been underground for the better part of 3 years. I think we can set up deagle for some potential, have a gun rotation per rounds on deagle… it’s a lot of work to get a diff gun every rnd, and if we made a fun deagle map, with a diff weapon everytime, maybe 1 rnd slap to 1 and flashes… I think there is potential on a small map there.

the mod i just finished makes it VERY easy to do this for any map… including the 1hp with flashes
I’ll work on getting the WCU map for CSS. My understanding was that it was almost complete.
Whether or not playing it on the pub server is a good idea is a whole different issue.
It really shouldn’t be a problem, the wcu map. Just call it university or something. Don’t use any logos from campus (like the names of buildings or the campus banner). That way you shouldn’t run into any problems. The layout should be able to be the same without any problems at all.
