Congratulations to MajorMajorMajor on applying for and getting voted in as the new CS 1.6 Council Leader!

I really appreciate this. And I will be working with the admins later this week to see what we like and think could improve the server. I like how the server is pretty full again, and i want to continue that.

Keep in mind that your duties as CS1.6 CL are to come play on the CSS server to see how it’s run. Perhaps even hang out there for long periods of time every day

Congrats to Major, And a big thank you for the ones that applied. We did receive a number of very well written statements from the community. Their are alot of people around the still really care for the 1.6 server. It is far from dead, just needs to build the community and a group of regulars back.

I think that the 1.6 server should be put back into voting for maps, yea, I know it’ll be the same 3 maps all day, but thats what gets the server populated imo, and then when its got a good consistent population, put it back onto rotation.
