Ive been noticing a huge increase in the number of club members that get together and play Magic the Gathering or other TCG’s. i think its about time we put up a section at least in the “other” section for Card games in general.
i mean an actual section mitch it can be contained within alternate gaming. Liam let me know if you have a problem with it.
trust me there is. from talking to some people on campus i beleive it may actually bring some more people over to the forums and eventually even to the servers.
at least 3 of the execs are active players and 10+ members that i can look at right now currently play MTG and other games.
We’ve had MTG threads in alt gaming in the past. Several, in fact.
Having it’s own section won’t increase the number of posts on the subject. Either they want to come here and discuss it or they don’t. What section the discussion takes place in has no bearing on the willingness of them to register here. If you say “hey we’ve got a section just for MTG” it won’t be any more or less attractive than saying “hey we discuss this all the time on our forums”.
When we start seeing activity for it we’ll create a section, until then, no reason for clutter, we’ve honestly got enough.
Why doesn’t the president check the forums anymore?

Keep in mind that if there isn’t sufficient activity it’ll get archived just like all the other un/undersupported sections IE DoDS, CSGG, CSSGG.
Also, why are you doing something that only execs and the webmaster has authority to do? That’s like me banning people, sure I have the power and it might be authorized but that doesn’t mean I’m allowed to do it.
