so apparently i suck at this game…been about 2 1/2 years since i touched dota and well yeah. anyone wanan rementor me of this game?
I got a beta key from one of my friends at school and tried playing but people online are *edited*ing dbags. I haven’t learned how to play because every noob server I join isn’t noob friendly at all…help?

I can help you out I still remember all the items from dota and who gets what. A few things have changed but for the most part im getitng back into it. Message me here or something and I can help you. My name on HoN is citan001 so you can add me as a friend too

Really? I read somewhere that they are done giving keys away for closed beta.

I didn’t read that, but I figured that was the case. I got a key for my bf from my friend who signed up for it sometime last year. He said he got 3 invites every now and then in his inbox. On the site, they advertise now that you have to pre-purchase the game to get friend invites.
I didnt even know you got invites for pre purchase of the game. I though that was it for beta keys. I guess the question now is the game really good enough to buy it.

Haha, how do you not notice? Whenever you sign in (and I think it’s all over the place on the site via popups), there are ads about pre-purchasing the game. xP
They list the benefits of purchasing, like keeping your beta screen name, more friend invites, the ability to taunt in-game (I really don’t care about this, though)… I think there are a couple more.

Ah, lol. I’ve only played two games so far. I keep going back to LoL. @_@ But I’ll hop on later if you wanna game — just be prepared for some nubiness. I didn’t really play dota and since the heroes/skills/items are almost all the same, I’m a complete nub, haha.
