There’s no point in it being illegal…it’s louder than crouch running and you hear it every footstep while in crouch running you hear 1/3, and it’s a quiet step. I don’t see a point…it’s hard to anyway unless you have a script.

well when im in the server i wont allow it. some people say “why not allow it, its just a glitch” but boostin through roof in italy is a glitch and so is sky walkin. it all the same thing in my mind.

No crouch running. bunny hopping is allowed until Loot says otherwise.
figure this, what i do is, if i see someone bhopping / crouch hopping i just politely ask them to not crouch hop, and tell them to keep the bhopping to a min. if they consistently just bhop around i ask them to stop. so bhop in moderation at end of rounds / beg. but during kinda keep it to a minimum.
bunny hopping doesnt give u an advantage and it is hard to do.. if experienced people can bhop without using a script then it should be perfectly legal in our server.. i bhop all the time and while im not perfect i still want to be able to do it
Bunny hopping / Air strafing is right at impossible with normal gravity and air acceleration settings; if you see someone doing it odds are it’s a script.
Hopping also makes you a much harder target and messes with shot registration so even if the person hits you with the AWP it’s probably not going to register. Ask them to stop doing it during mid-round, if they don’t get rid of them.
Lol. Isn’t the point to be a hard target to hit??? I’m mor ethan capable of bhopping and I use the *edited* space bar. What are you goign to do, take my space bar away? lol. It comes with practice…I’ve been doing jump maps for 3 years now. Bhop maps come up. I suck because I don’t script it…I still manage to beat it after quite some time…Simply put…there’s no reason for it to be barred at all.

There’s a difference. Bunny hopping you do it repeatedly, strafe jumping can be defined as just one jump since there’s a difference in the distance you go by doing one strafe jump and one regular jump
. Hence why bunny hopping was the term used so it wouldn’t mess people up with singular and plural words 
And someone posted saying it was hard unless you use a script. Pretty false, a lot of people can do it with just hitting spacebar or something. I’d do that but I shoot with spacebar sometimes

If you’ve ever seen people do it like I have you’d hold the same view on it that I do. There’s nothing wrong with repeated jumping but when you get to the other team’s spawn in less than 5 seconds it tends to create issues.
When you crouch run you hear the footsteps but the footsteps sound like they are a lot farther away than they actually are. So for people with headsets it can be really annoying. It also screws up the hitboxes thus leading to really bad registry most of the time.
Bunny hoping doesn’t do anything other than making it harder to hit the player. The hitboxes stay the same and all that jazz.
WOW why are you people talking about bunny hopping LOL…did we take a ride on the time travel machine back to 2000?
Well, it’s really about the crouch-run, but people were starting to compare it to bhopping to see if it should be allowed.
