Possibly because *edited*ES DON’T KNOW ABOUT MAH TF2 SERVER!

But seriously, perhaps we should advertise the game servers as well.
Also, it needs things like “rtd” (roll the dice), lower respawn, and better maps.

you are the one in charge so YOU tell Liam what to do and he will do it. Also that server is advertised on both the 1.6 server and the CSS server, so people know it is there. YOU need to be doing things to get the server populated, that is your job as CL.

Yeah, I couldn’t do it anymore anyway. something else came up, though i’m kind of glad cuz the CL has a ton more responsibility now

Ok, just to make sure I have everything right…
1. Explicitly state the rcon password in a PM
2. Respawn needs to be at least half the normal time
An easy way to change respawn on the fly on my side would be extremely helpful.
3. A list of all maps available on the WCU server
4. What is used as command on the server so I don’t have to keep opening console? “/ ! ~”
5. Yeah, sorry, I’ve been on other servers with my friends in [PbP] doing scrims and stuff lately.
I’ll be more active on our server from now on.
6. Also, I have a great achievement map to put on the server,
but it really shines when it has bots, can we do that?
7. The WCU server will not stay in my Favs for some reason, anyone know why?
go DL HLSW and 99% of your issues are solved if you have rcon
and yeah, when on campus none of my servers would save. now that im of campus, css, 1.6. tf2.all of them now save… idk if theirs a fix? something to do with campus networking…
but easy way to remember is all our server ips are “connect gaming.wcu.edu: (then port)” so
connect gaming.wcu.edu:27030 for tf2
connect gaming.wcu.edu:27025 for CS:S
and on and on,, view steam group community page if you forget steam port

Odd, it’s giving me a “is not playing on any server” message” with 0.0.0.0:0 up on the title-bar.
But it recognizes it as the WCU TF2 server on the Favs list and says its on cp_dustbowl.
it prob has not been updated in the past year,, so the build is way off thus why knowone has joined it like ever
be my best guess, anywho,, havent tryed for myself

Still unable to access the server, once I click on it in the server list, it immediately goes back to the server list.
No error message or anything, just wont let me join.
Does anyone know why it would be doing this?
I am very sorry for not having checked on it once I became CL for it.

Console gave a crytic error about steam key length. If you ever can’t get in a server check console, it usually says why.
I have updated the server and it’s fine now.
is this server ever going to brought up and ran or just wasted ? If its cl needs help let me know ill be glad to help and there several others im sure that would help we just need to know the help is needed .
