I like this map and I’m just wondering how everyone feels about this map. Although I like it, I feel like this map sometimes kills the server. Oilrig comes right after de_dust in the map rotation and a lot of people tend to have mixed feelings about both of these maps in particular. De_dust has been doing well but I think oilrig should be replaced with a more popular map such as de_chateau/de_prodigy/de_survivor/de_militia. What are your thoughts party people?
i’m not really a fan of it either. I really think de_dust did good for the server population. I think a replacement of de_prodigy for as_oilrig would be best, IMO
I like the idea of replacing oilrig with prodigy. I also like the idea of replacing oilrig with westwood!! Oilrig needs to go =(

These days the server isn’t packed at all and from what I’ve seen, whenever there are a handful of people in oilrig they all rtv immediately. A map like prodigy or westwood would help the rotation greatly.

Another map that i would love to see besides de_prodigy and westwood would be cs_747

Is there some chance we can get rid of oilrig? It is hurting the server a lot. There are so many other maps that can replace oilrig and do a better job at keeping the server full. Prodigy would be a good choice b/c it’s such a popular map. Westwood would be another good choice b/c the map is small and the rounds will go by quickly. I really believe westwood could work well in the 1.6 server. Westwood (15 minutes) should be given a shot at the rotation! Or Prodigy (20)!
I say we vote on these maps to replace oilrig:
1) cs_747
2) cs_militia
3) de_prodigy
4) de_westwood
any other map suggestions?

i vote for prodigy and westwood(no awp/autosniper)
IMO, i say we put one of those maps on for a week and then change it out, look at the server population (make sure the maps are played at the same times during the day) and we pick which one shows the best results.
I like all of those maps personally, i think it just depends on which brings in more people

2) I say yes, but it’ll clear out the server, especially at night.

But i personally liked oil-rig but its one of those maps that depends who gets out of there spawn first and if as a t if you jumped down and kill the vip fast . why used to annoy me was when the vip would type kill in there console because they didn’t want to be the vip and only have a pistol
imma veto everything here… population is down and if we want to keep it up these maps are not the answer sorry
