Action: Request a ChangeStatement: could we have a voteban on the cs servers. at many times admins are not on in game or on the irc. in 1.6 i warn people to follow the rules but i can’t enforce it or do anything official. in source i see people coming into irc alot trying to get an admin and no one comes.how it would work would be like this: any player can type /voteban into chat and this would bring up a menu similar to that of the admins. they would be able to choose the name of the person they want banned. this would bring up a yes no vote. if a sufficient percent says yes the player is banned, if a sufficent amount says no then the vote starter is banned. this ban should be set at 10-20 minutes. this would give some power to the regular players on the server and would help when there are no admins. votebans can only be started once every 5-10 minutes and you can’t voteban when there is an admin in the server.also an rtd(roll the dice) on the 1.6 server, people can roll once every 180 seconds(3 min) to get a random gift or punishment. such as money, a slap disease, being blind, or godmodealso a rtr(rock the rotation) on the 1.6 server so if people don’t like the current map when a sufficient amount of people rock the rotation it goes to the next map on the rotation. cant be started until 3-5 minutes after the map changealso a /mute command which brings up a player list where you can choose who you would like to mute for yourself because often the steam mute does not work.yes i know some of these requests have come up before but i am bringing them up again =)- Pyro, incase there are any questions. i do have examples on other servers of everything except the rock the rotation but thats just a different version of rock the vote

I dislike playing CS1.6 as much as you hate playing CSS but if my computer didn’t bluescreen half the time I played it I would be more willing to help enforce rules there.
I can guarantee if you went into IRC and asked for help it would be given.
I play 1.6 all the time. I’ve had to ask enough people to change there names from offensive ones or temp ban kids for racism and what not so people know that I’m an admin. I dont have IRC because the last time I dled it, it gave me a virus. Plus now I wouldnt be able to run it cause it slows down my comp HxC when I had it. Truth is add me on Steam friends and send me a chat thing asking me to come to WCU (if I’m not there already).

its summer pyro… even tho it says we are in IRC 75%of the time we arnt there give it 2 weeks and i bet ppl will be on more often than now

VOTEBAN IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!! IT IS JUST COMPLETE BULL*edited*! You can’t give pubbers the right to ban someone because I have seen a million times people get banned by vote ban for unjust reasons on other servers. If you want to even try to get something done, ask for a VOTEKICK, needless to say, that is still bull*edited*, but on a lower level.
