ParticipantIt’s obious that you enjoy playing on our server and taking part in our forums, but my question to you is:
When you start looking at colleges to attend, would you be more likely to attend an institution that had an on-campus gaming community similar to what we have here in Cullowhee? And how much weight do put behind the gaming aspect of a campus versus other areas such as class size, types of degrees offered, accesability and speed of the network (internet), and other campus activites?
Just answer honestly please, and if you are already here at WCU and want to chime in also, that’s fine.
Thanks.

Participantas adam knows. the Gaming club really was a major factor in deciding where i went to school. unfortunately iddint end up there, for other reasons. (see SPAM thread page 16 ish i think) but WCU is frickin awesome. and i love it.

Participantthis gaming club is alot of fun and as you see im one of the most active on the forums and in the server. but i wouldnt go to a school just because of a club like this it would also need to have the right classes for me, because i dont think you guys would pay for college for me and for everything i need.

very good points… so is it safe to assume that if the classes/degree options were there, then a game club or game server would persuade you over a different school that didn’t have either?

Participantyes definately. even if the other school did have just one of those things i would probably go to the school with both.
but ofcourse if it was harvard or a school thats very good like that and specializes in what i need would be on a higher prioriety to me. because it would obviously be a lot better just becauser ofthe class and i would just come to lans and stuff. that is considering totally new people dont join the club and i dont know anyone, then it might change but if it gradually has different people or just gets new members it would be a great club
