My understanding is that MSNBC didn’t show anything about it and CNN gave an extremely lowball estimate of how many people were there.
I hate to bring race into it but if everyone there was black and demonstrating in support of Obama the media coverage would have been a good deal different.

Participanthey completely OT, but did you know MSNBC and MSNBC.com are actually two completely seperate companies? It’s true, look it up. Now the question is which one has more liberal bias. I’m choosing msnbc.com cause it awarded Obama Pennsylvania when 0% of the votes were in.

ParticipantWell, I thought it was pretty cool.

ParticipantI think the only fact in that entire thing was that Czar is derived from Cesear.
I hate ignorant voters in both parties, although their seems to be more ignorant republicans.
At lol at communist and socialist being intertwined. Hitler was a socialist and he hated communists.

ParticipantSadly, by looking at that crowd, Democrats could easily change any healthcare *edited* they want in 10 years because 45% of their voter base will have died. (this is only by observing the crowd not an actual representation of who is voting what)
I’ve finally made a decision on what I believe on they whole healthcare issue. As stupid as I may sound, I feel the national government should not be providing for the people in the first place and therefore should not nationalize/public option anything.

I think that is a pretty ignorant statement. Yes, some of the crowd went overboard, but how about those left-wing crazies who accused Bush of being a murderous, racist, fool for eight years. I’d say the number of crazy people in both parties is about even. Now, when it comes to politicians, there are a lot of scoundrels in both parties. However, the Republians barely have any power at the moment, so there are many more scoundrels with authority in the Democrat party.

We live in the South.
There are more reps than dems in the South.
Assuming %30 of all voters are bat*edited*, there are definitely more bat*edited* reps in the South.

ParticipantYou did not say “there are more ignorant republicansin the south.” You said “there are more ignorant republicans.” Nothing about your initial remark was geographical.

In any kind of debate, it does not matter what you mean to say; only what is actually expressed.
For example:
Your mother is a *edited*. Whoops! I meant to say your mother is not a *edited*.

ParticipantIf you’ve ever listened to him you know he gets some of the most liberal callers known to man.
Barring the toned used to deliver it, the argument he made can’t be ignored. Every year thousands of people, rich and poor, come here from other countries because they can’t get proper or groundbreaking healthcare from their own state-run systems. You can deny waiting lists and lotteries all you want but there’s no getting around the fact that the majority of government run systems have them and we’d be going into this knowing full well that the people running our country, on both sides of the isle, are some of the most incompetent people on the planet.
It’s a recipe for disaster, even when the cooking’s by the book.

ParticipantWhile the recent videos of ACORN morons are indeed despicable; how hilarious is the moral outrage from the right?
$53 million dollars since 1994 in federal funding, sounds like alot no?
$53 million over 15 years is $3.53 million a year.
$3.53 million a year spread over 300 million Americans is $.01 per American per year.
Wow the horror of that one penny you dropped during the year going to house, feed and clothe poor people….. All brought down by a couple of bad apples.
Please help your friends on the right find a little perspective in their lives. It might help with their paranoid delusions of having the black-african-negro-muslim-socialist-communist-facist as their preznet.
Don’t forget the videos were produced with help by Andrew Breitbart, the conservative Michael Moore if you will. Google him for fun times.

ParticipantIt’s a little more widespread than you let on. 4 offices are now being investigated and I believe I heard the senate voted to cut their funding.
Btw, National Park Service now estimates well over 1 million people were at this event.
