Well, there are tons of other Gun Game/SK servers out there, especially GG. Though, some aren’t moderated much. Maybe instead of having WCU having another CS:S server, could try to find a different server and post a good one on the forum. Dunno how well that’ll work though, but just a thought.
And SK servers generally aren’t all that popular. I found a decent one and can post that up here when I log onto source.
Yea, James was having problems with this all the sudden like the other night. He even reinstalled source to no avail. No problems with McAffee yet.

If your having problems connecting and get an error about de_contra, to correct it go into yourc:\program files\steam\steamapps\<userid>\cstrike\maps
and delete the de_contra files located therein.
After that, try reconnecting and it’ll download the map and life will be happy.
Hope that helps for those of you having trouble.
I’m having troubles with this with awp_map. I deleted it from my maps folder, but still when I try to download it from the server, it won’t allow me. Can somone repost the link to get to it? I already tried downloading it from the web a couple of times, but I guess it was a different map.

Idunno, didn’t get to play with Seph much and the one time I did come upon him in a different server, the only comment I got was a “go back to the WCU server Kellum.” So personality wise, may not be the easiest, but the times he was using his admin privileges, he seemed to use them to even out the teams. So I always thought he made a good enough admin.

I would like to put on the table that hence foward, the 50post quota to becoming an admin should be called the “Dave Thomas Run.”
I always get the beef and potato burrito at Taco Bell. If you haven’t tried it, it’s good stuff. They’re only like.. $1.29 or maybe .39, I forget.
Completely agree with the dbl cheese while wasted. This place called Bullwinkles and they have all you can drink nights (liquor) for $5 bucks from 9-12. Mcy’s is right down the street and in the right direction. Not the best of ideas, but $.99 of decliciousness is too good to pass up.

Haha, that’s awesome. I tend to go in there and practice my recoils from time to time… I always look to see if at least one person is in that server… but there never is
I completely agree about Fantastic 4. The first one was utter crap.
Spiderman 3 though, I have to say I liked it. It had that comic book feel and it seemed like they just had fun with it. They tried cramming in a lot because, supposedly, it’s the last movie
Transformers and the next Harry Potter movies are the only other ones I’m looking forward to seeing this summer, unless there are some I’m forgetting.

There was this one guy on Comedy Central that I liked… he used a guitar sometimes and would flip through pictures that he drew as he progressed through his jokes. Yea, idunno, but it was good stuff.
Dave Chappelle, heck yea. Blue Collar was good, when it was alil taste of all of them together and they feed off of each other well. Seperate them though, they get old fast.

Oof, 5v5, one person can make the difference. Feel sorry for the team that gets me.
Would be a good though. Might teach people to learn how to play as a team rather than to see who can get the most kills.
Will there be admin ruled or self regulated w/ “votekick” and such commands?

I just recently bought a new AGP Nvidia 7600GS and it has been working really nice. Runs pretty much everything on max settings smoothly and relatively cheap as well. Got mine for about $120 off of pricewatch.com. It’s one of the better cards out there for AGP. Almost anything better would be PCI-e.

Awesome, thanks for the suggestions. I been trying to learn when to spray and when to burst. With that, to learn how to counteract some of the recoil as well.
As for the AWP/Scout, to avoid embarrassing myself completely, I usually practice those with bots solo, or on scoutsknives (where I tend to lose a good 100pts time).
Anyone know of a map that can be used where it’s mostly open space so I wouldn’t have to go around searching for lost bots?
