We had an epic knife fight too.i wish the second time its played in the rotation that scouts were restricted and it was knife only… so the first time in the rotation its normal sk3 and second time it comes up nothin but epic knife battles lol

Nope im a good lookin guy dont be jealous cuz I dont swing that way kamikaze. Anyways back to the issue at hand. It was epic lag that lasted for atleast 5 min and cleared the server out. After the server changed maps to contra and everyone was gone except me the lag stopped.That sounds to me like the server cpu usage is peaking and having trouble handling all the clients on it. once the clients cleared and it was able to clear its backlog of items it returned to normal use. If someone has been tracking the cpu usage on it, it may help to see especially during peak hours. The only other idea I can come up with is bandwidth. But I would assume bandwidth is fine

It’s housed in the Fine & Performing Arts Center at Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, NCThe server is really close, should be able to have someone go check it out and see what the cpu usage is at peak times and see if its getting spec’d out. That or if its dropping packets or something. Cause something is causing it to lag at times just wondering if there is a corresponding time or reason to help find the root cause

Honestly B-hopping after round end shouldn’t really matter. The only real downside is someone whos alive after round gets killed when normally they wouldn’t have. Been seeing alot of people B-hopping away from bomb sites when bombs about to blow. I know admins normally do not slay these people as the rounds already won but if they had to stay and guard the bomb then they should die when it blows up and have to rebuy like everyone else does that follows the server rules.
Does a double jump constitute a B-hop. I mean one jump followed by a second quick jump that gives you the little extra speed and distance. I mean its really just one good jump

Anyway yea me and Ex experienced alot of lag on the server about 2 days ago actually had to get master p to reset it. It seems to be happening more often now for some reason. Not sure if anyone else has noticed this.
… any thoughts about the whole knife’s only second time around in rotation?
