SpectatorSquee! People know about me! My therapist was wrong. I am important!
Ephraim
SpectatorI’d like to know who the new Secretary is, so I can direct him to the Secretary guide I wrote and feel vaguely effective.

SpectatorInteresting choices. I was expecting Mortal Kombat, but the lack of MvC3 surprises me. I am a little curious about Melee though. Will a ten-year-old game still bring in a crowd. I’m not saying it won’t. I’m just curious.
Ephraim
SpectatorScrew it. I’m out forty bucks. Serves me right for buying a non-Valve game online.
Ephraim
SpectatorI’ve never played Counter-Strike before. Maybe this would be a good place to start.

Also, the thread should be renamed Ephrayim’s derailment of cs:go.
I thought about explaining why this statement is so stupid, but instead I’ve decided to point out how pleased I am to know that I will never see you again.
Ephraim
SpectatorOh, this is going to get fun!
Ephraim
SpectatorSave your venom, Gomez. This isn’t the place.

SpectatorFirst flame war of the semester. The natural order has been restored.
Ephraim
SpectatorIt’s weird. I normally think of first-person shooters being better on PCs.
Ephraim
SpectatorApparently, I’m not the only person having this problem:

Maybe I should just wait for Eidos to release a patch.
Ephraim
SpectatorIt’s Steam. I’m guessing either my computer just isn’t high-tech enough, or there I need to due something in the amazingly complicated video options. Arg.
Ephraim
SpectatorAn update: After changing the video options to default, the game is now technically playable. However, the controls are so unresponsive that it is practically unplayable. It takes a second for the computer to realize a button has been pressed. In a shooter, this is unacceptable. I may as well be plaing it on a console.
Ephraim
SpectatorI can’t believe I actually have an excuse to use this pic:

Ephraim
SpectatorAll the Republicans seem to be hyped about Rick Perry, but I don’t know jack about him. Part of me is a little bit interested in Herman Cain, because I think he will make fridays “Free Pizza Friday.” Also, he’s a businessman and economics are kind of a big deal right now.
Ephraim
SpectatorPrediction: The club will begin hosting tournaments for the game as soon as it is released and continue to do so until three years after it stops being popular.
Ephraim
SpectatorThose both look awesome. Personally, I think the second one is more appealing.

SpectatorAlready got it. It makes me a happy Ephraim.
Ephraim
SpectatorSome of you might already know about this, but for the rest of you here’s the story: when Sonic CD was released in the US, about 2/3 of the soundtrack was altered for some reason. While the American soundtrack is very much above average, the Japanese soundtrack is one of the best OSTs ever released. Here is a brief sample of the awesomeness.

My favorite parts are when he does the children’s voices.

Ephraim
SpectatorI heard a rumor that everyone at SimpWeb is *edited*, or at least bisexual. That’s just what I heard.
