map voting is fine… its just that some maps make people leave. i.e. westwood and assault.
i think a better idea would be to force auto-assign, or to just remove a lot of maps.
we took port off a while ago because its not an even map and people get frustrated. i wish you could edit the in game world and put a barrier in between those two red crates on the terrorist side. that would solve so many things.
if anything, i would give the admins the ability to play the map, but not put it on the voting rotation.
yea 747 sucked, it was impossible to get all the hosties. and actually wasnt the map broken anyways? i think it was actually impossible to return them
ive gotta say, i dont really like westwood…
maybe its because ive only played it a couple times. what do you guys think?
i mean, ive gotten better, but im still not good… anybody remember my p90 days? some of you probably do haha, i was real bad then
haha, it was a joke guys, he just killed me 12 times in one map… i guess sarcasm doesnt come across well through text.
the custom maps are what make the server better than others…
i think leave it like it is should be an option

ill agree, some of my hardest classes have no attendance policy.
also, ive been playing a bunch the past few days! but nobody else is…. and pretty much everybody that comes in complains about the reg on the server. is this still in the process of getting fixed? i think thats why we’ve seen numbers dwindling. new people have just been getting frustrated and leaving… also, theres been a few new fps that have come out in the last few months… this could just be a natural migration of players from one game to another. sad for us source fools
how about no awp map at all? itll never compare to sk3… if anything add the original sk again, or even sk2 which is set at night and kind of a fun change up… renton would love a shotty map haha
you guys are overestimating liquid nitrogen… you can definately handle it in containers without gloves. granted, if you submerge your hands in it, it will give you severe frostbite, but mild exposure from a splash or something, will do no less then cause irritation or a slight burn. you can actually ingest liquid nitrogen. ive ate liquid nitrogen ice cream before, you can find a ton of recipes on the internet if your interested. take it from someone whose studying chemistry, its been on me before. its not that bad.
actually, liquid nitrogen vaporizes immediately on contact with anything warmer than itself… hence the constant vapor. so once you open the container its stored in, anything over about -150 degrees celsius will cause it to boil off… the exposure just wouldnt be enough to do any significant damage… unless your a dumbass and just submerge yourself in the container.
EDIT: haha, i was curious… it is actually used as a coolant for super computers. pretty crazy
remember when stats had accuracy and that dude that showed you where you shot people with each gun and your kpd with each gun among other things? what ever happened to that? and can we get it back
liam, do you think there will be the same drop in fps when the upgrade to the tf2 engine then?
that would make this game pretty much unplayable for me on certain maps.
