I think we need to add the bank system to the source server. It allows you to bank all your moneys:D
I’m sure me and ver1sauce aren’t the only ones who would hate this idea:D
This would be one of the biggest wastes I’ve seen in a while.
Sure, its nice and all that to have an unlimited supply of money, but honestly? It’s not hard to make money.
I think this is a terrible idea and will completely change both the feeling and aura of our server. Yeah it’s nice to be able to get nightvision every rnd with my shotty and p228. But still, you won’t get that satisfaction of being able to spend 5500 to get all that and armor on the 2nd round after killing 5 guys the first rnd? I think it will completely change the dynamics of the game, mess up the team balancer horribly. I just don’t like it, how many friggin reasons do you want.
no! pistole round are to much fun.. it will be ghey if someone has a p90… we have a betting system which is retarted easy to make money,
I think pistol rounds are needed. Bank system is like having an uneven playing field. Reminds me of the WC3 servers back in the day.
I don’t like it because the strategy that is involved in earning money. for example right now i have to actually prove i’m good at either shooting, knifing, or gambling before I can get the more efficient weapons or just ask for one from someone else who has money. with a bank, i could do my usual playing with a p228 or whatever for a day or so and spend next to nothing, then the next day be running free with an autosniper nonstop. and like nodice said, if you learn to type “bet ct all” then you can make money stupid easy. Plus the pistol rounds are good fun to start off the maps.
Negative. I just don’t think that it is neccesary, nor would it be as fun. The betting system is just fine.
i say no, this ruins the pistol round entirely and gives those who play often a huge edge over everyone else
weeeell. i voted yes, but then after reading everyone’s reasons, i think i’m going to have to take back my vote. Everyone made really good points.
No, and I see no affirmative reason to have it for that matter. Game works fine as it is. If you can’t learn to play with a pistol in the first round, go somewhere else. Sides, its fun to have just a save round and glock someone when they have an M4 to your face.
i think most bank mods don’t start until round two… however I think this would be a noob move to put this on the server.. and one of the reasons that i like wcu is that it stays mostly stock and clean of wierd mods
