SpectatorSo the plan is to design a back for this one:
http://www.wcugaming.org/forums/index.php?…ost&p=11017
If any one disagrees, post now, I love that design for the front.
Maybe do a bell tower outline and a stick figure (EFG ftw) with a thought bubble, “I could so camp that.”

SpectatorI guess I’ll say it again…
Have you found a printer and checked with them first to see if they can print that? Often times, printers will only do a certain sized area on the shirt (ie: not sleeve to sleeve).
It would be a shame to decide on that design and not have anyone who can print it at a price we are willing to pay.

SpectatorThe WCU school white long sleeve t-shirt is printed sleeve to sleeve, I’d imagine they used the same resources we will. But still we can check

Spectatori personly think its plan looking, i like some of the other “ideas” better, the quality is not their… are you picking design or quality? b/c once we have a design/idea, we can make it into quality

SpectatorMy advice would be… Look at T-Shirts that actually look cool, then do something similar. Right now you’ve got 8th Grade Photoshop work. Don’t you have Graphic Design majors or Artists in your gaming club? One of the styles currently in use in the Game and Media industry is plain well spaced text down the front of the right facing shoulder. Or you could have the text along the bottom ending in the bottom right facing corner with a WCU tag on the line of the top right facing shoulder.

Spectator8th grade photoshop work?
Considering I was trying to use GIMP and have no clue how, I’ll take that as a compliment
August 28, 2007 at 7:23 pm #25537pinkcs
SpectatorYou should. I’m not downing your abilities, I’m just thinking professional standards.
For a lot of small groups, things like this are about salability, there are certain types of designs that look good when multiple people wear them (team gear), then there are designs that are seemingly meant to be one offs and look weird when multiple people are seen sharing the same design, which detracts from the salability.
For some small groups, things like this are about community, and again the same rules about team-styled wear applies.
Also by creating something that people will wear more casually, that looks smart and isn’t over whelming you might just create a bit more buzz on campus and detract some of the geekiness from the gaming scene. Which only helps you guys more.

Spectatori like nickname & urban’s design the best. Considering the t-shirt idea was mine originally (as well as the cash prize to gain interest), i vote for urbans front & nicknames first front as back. Awesome pair. My nomination FTW.

SpectatorIsn’t the CS logo a registered trademark?

SpectatorIsn’t putting a crosshair on someone’s back a BAD idea after VTech and the other shootings?
August 28, 2007 at 10:33 pm #25558Phonetically Phamous (dice
Spectatorguys dont be afraid to post something drawn up in paint… the entire point of this is to get the “IDEA”.. we can make it look profesional and uber high quality for screen printing later…. looking for the best idea, thats catchy and portrays the club
August 28, 2007 at 11:28 pm #25561Nickname
SpectatorI have to agree the crosshair i think is in bad taste.
August 29, 2007 at 9:38 am #25574Ashley Faulkner
SpectatorWow guys, I didn’t say either of those too… minus of course the second controller…but this is what I said. Jeez. I like the top one for the back and the bottom one for the front.

SpectatorAye, I wasn’t referring to your post Ashley, I was referring to it in general as a lot of people would like to use a crosshair somewhere in their shirt designs.

Spectatorill draw something cool if you give me specific information about the t-shirts
as it stands right now, i dont know what i can or cant do on this shirt.
For example, can I draw on the sleeves? Does the picture have to be centered? Can the image take up the entire t-shirt? ect ect
