yo yo yo check these out… desktop on a see thru cube, yummy!
btw, #3 appears to have a screen cap glitch… but you can see thru the cube! if you were able to read it, it’s drawing the cs 1.6 window backwards, appropriate for the 3D placement and orientation of it!
It will probably change pretty fast like most desktops, but this is what it is right now:
Fedora Core 6 w/ Beryl:
Yeah bringing up kind of an old thread…but I’m too proud of my desktop now that I got Beryl working properly.
Also, Windows XP with a twist of Vista, and a hint of Mac:
this is the uglies it everbeen. combination of noobie deskop links and all out lazy ness. if you see the labeled NEEDSSORTING has hundreds of randm files and shoucuts to blow your mind. i ll clean it up and show you my skinnin skills.
Adam I really like your layout. What are you using Object desktop or what, if youd let me in on a few secrets Id apreciate it.
Direct Linkage again, since I still can’t get Thumbnails to work…
I got Garry’s Mod yesterday and it proceeded to make me forget everything else I planned to do all day long.
whast that cplmousefix zip you got?
i mean is their a config that seiously make your mouse better?
anyhow, my desktop
It removes mouse acceleration from windows all together. I posted it in the Tips thread on the source forum. Handy for making consistent turns to the enemy. Often times when you turn towards a person if you move the mouse too fast the acceleration inherent in movement will make your crosshair zoom past them. The mouse fix will enable you to make concise and consistent 180, 90 , etc. degree turns to whever with out having to adjust for missing the enemy.
Here are some of mine. Windows Vista Ultimate ^^.
First one just showing basic Vista stuff, normal background, etc.
What’s this?
A movie as my background? YEP, and its playing too
.
Y HALO THAR AERO, with movie background ;D.
I love Vista
Wish I had more .mpg files, I could’ve picked a better movie as my background. And no, no sound with it playing as desktop.
so i’v been playing around with theming.. whatcha think for 1st try doesent all match but its my 1st try
