Unfortunately having a setback, i was nearly set to pick up the system pack with mgs4 and disaster struck with the ski. Had a bearing go out in my stroker crank, taking the entire top end with it. Its gonna cost me more than my ps3 budget fund to get this motor back up and BraPpping… Looks like this incident set be back about 4 months <_ damnit>
oh well, really looking forward to playing it at the LAN
just ditch the ski and buy the ps3 anyway
or else you wont find another ps3 with backward compatibility
jetskis are the best. if you wanna ditch it just send it my way. who cares i have no where to use it haha

Yeah I guess I would enjoy paying out the *edited* to play online games too, /shrug yours is an opinion where mine is based on repeated failures and cover ups by Microsoft, not that Sony is anymore innocent.
Saying things like Xbox>PS3 is immature and completely inaccurate, that is like saying Wii>Xbox, I love all the systems and I do not pull for any of them more than one of the others I think they all have something great to bring to the table, whether people want to admit it or not Xbox and PS3 are two different types of consoles. Or at least the original marketing strategy meant it to be that way, but when both systems began copying each other by way of the players and owners saying well we want that too we ended up with competing systems that in the long run one or the other is going to win over the other, just like the DVD format war. Fortunately we have the great exclusive titles, that saves it some what but they did that with HD-DVD and BluRay and guess what it still ended up being won out by one format. I don’t want it to happen I wish people would just stick with a console they enjoy and play it and stop getting in other people’s business about their opinion’s on consoles. If it is what you enjoy then enjoy it and let the other guy enjoy his system. I mean we are never going to get away from it, even Apple and Microsoft does it, copying each others ideas and slightly modifying it to fit their agenda. It is a downright creative license crime but they just keep getting away with it and I guess we’ll just have to keep on living with it.
Point in short, no system is better in any way shape or form than the other, the only person who can determine which system is better is you, and don’t let anyone tell you anything different about it, if you enjoy the way that system works you enjoy it and tell everybody else to stfu.

I say a 360 is a good investment assuming you like a multiplayer experience due to the Xbox Live community it has, as well as the controller style for FPS’s. I think off-centered joysticks are definitely better for playing them. If you’re a big movie buff and want high-def then go for the PS3. If you want the same console for 10 years and hope that Sony doesn’t end up going bankrupt or whatever else, then buy a PS3. Either one is going to be a quality investment, it’s just a matter of what you want.

First off, this is an opinionated forum, so I am well within my rights to state my personal preferences when it comes to consoles.
Second, I didn’t say the PS3 sucks or tried to influence anyone’s decisions. I said I personally like the 360 over the PS3. I actually own a PS3 and have started to get more interested in it lately. Neither immature nor inaccurate. Just opinionated.

When did I tell you to do that? I thought I gave advice to my fellow gamers about console issues, and I don’t know maybe I am not up on my internet savvy speech but last I heard, when you put a little > mark in there it means it “pwns” whatever is on the other side of it. And even if you were saying it was greater than my argument still holds true, the only part of my argument that was directed to you was that part of the argument.
Let’s map this out:
You said “All products made by Microsoft will end in fail.” This was clearly a joke aimed at Microsoft. Fine.
I said “360>PS3.” This was clearly a joke aimed at Sony. Equally fine.
Then, you called my comment immature and innacurrate, despite the fact that you did the same *edited* thing and my comment was not ment to be taken seriously. You used my comment as a jumping board into a tirade. Why the hell shouldn’t I take it personally?

he wasn’t telling you to stfu for saying it, he was pointing out that most arguments end up being “360>PS3 now stfu and stop arguing with me” or vice versa

That was my way of looking at it, all in all it was a joke yes, but it still holds true for the point I was making.
Basically though you are taking this way too seriously and to lighten the load a little bit I will leave you with this quote.

Let me amend that with what REALLY happened:
DOS 5+ = epic win
Windows 3.1 = win
Windows 95 = partial win
Windows 95 w/ USB = win
Windows 98 = fail
Windows 98 SE = win
Windows 2000 Pro SPx = win
Windows ME = partial fail (introduced many XP features we love) (I never had crash issues with it)
Windows XP = fail
Windows XP SP1 = near fail
Windows XP SP2/SP3 = full of win
Windows Vista = near win
Windows Vista SP1 = epic win
lol windows 2000 was not fail it was epic win.
win me i admit was fail though…
but xp (sp2) was win and so was vista (sp1)

I was born a fully functional human adult. Actually, MasterP probably wasnt 8 when that stuff came out. Or I just think he’s older than he actually is. In which case, I apologize in advance.
