SpectatorMaking pub folks listen to you is easy. You just have to use a great deal of verbal abuse. And the mic. Or even better, both at the same time. For some reason being insulted makes people follow your oders, never understood why though. Ive gotten pubbers to charge into awp kill zones like lemmings before. although it might have helped that i had a score of like 17/5 and everyone else was 2/7 on my team. Controlling a team just takes some tough love. Orders must be accomponaied by insults. Every time they do anything wrong, let them know just how it, in great detail. While this may sound cruel, and downright mean, I can get an entire team of 10+ totaly random people to go exactly where i tell them to round after round, so there has to be something about it that works. Im sure someone here has been on a team where ive been ranting at them near constantly so they would know how it works.

P.S.
You can also cheat a bit if they are all piled up around a door. Just say the next room is clear(dosen’t matter if it is or not) and they will all rush in to act like they were in there while the fighting was going on. By the time they realize you were lying they will have killed all the defenders, so its a moot point anyway. Very effective when one awp is holding off 10 people through fear alone.

SpectatorMos def killty, christ i got the mouth of a sailor when it comes to giving orders, I was in prodigy yesterday, and one of the underlings told me to go to A when the entire Terrorist team was going to B, i goto A and my entire team gets killed somehow, i pulled a sweet as hell ace out of nowhere. I let out a string of unrepeatable words after that. Team listened to me for the rest of the round. Had absolutely no problems after that. Gotta show some muscle if ya want to lead. Also noobs who try to lead and get everyone killed need to be dealt with promptly. e-lives depend upon it. I’ve found the best way to kill any one on a maniac spree is to approach his position with a noob, tell him to run out, he will get killed listen for the reload and then pop him. Few chances to do that but it seems to work for anyone who is exploding heads like a monster. Also knifing people seems to break a team’s nerve, once the fear set’s in they lose their cool and it’s all over from there. Also if you are going somewhere like long A and you find that nothing is immediately going down, 9 times out of 10 they went the other way, best thing to do is start up a cussing storm to get the teams *edited* moving in the right direction otherwise they will sit on their asses like “uh what do i do next or something lolz?”
Maybe we could add some cpl maps to the rotation, i have never played any of those before. I’ve always wondered if there is any kind of mod that has proximity voice on it, like maybe you could hear a terrorist talking if they are within sound distance. That would make for some interesting tactics. I like that we got chateu in there now, that and train seems to give me steroid power or something, they are just ridiculously easy for me.

SpectatorI HATE PEOPLE THAT *edited* OUT. For instance, CT’s on assault will stop trying to get into the building. T’s on Dust will stop trying to rush the bomb sites and just stand outside of mid tunnels. CT’s get awps on Aztec and the whole map gets *edited* and T’s stop trying to get to bomb sites. I guess what I’m trying to say is: get some balls people. If you rush hard, you can get at least 3 or 4 people unsuspecting at the beginning of the round. At least 2 or 3 times before they catch on.

SpectatorYou don’t really have to be intelligent to lead. Usually yelling “GO SHORT A” is enough to get a win if everybody does it.

SpectatorI know that alot of this has been said before, but here is my 2 cents:
Dust, although one of CS’s most legendary maps, tends to always be one-sided. The server rarely has a solid Terrorist team to win any rounds, and we have a problem with stacking on the CT side as it is. Alot of people voice their complaints (Terrorists mainly) over how uneven they feel this is, and although the map does help bring more people to the server, I think it should be looked at.
Assault is difficult, but even I like having it in the rotation.
Chateau should be in there too.
But I entirely agree that it would be nice to maybe have an end of map vote.
Regardless, even the hard maps can be won with some strategy and coordination. Rushing wins you rounds. Enough said. People need to not be afraid to die. They rely too much on this ranking system to actually play with half a brain.
