Thanks for the heads up. You know i’m on teh up and up in the freeride jetski releam. But your only 4 months behind from it showing on national TV so thats pretty good. I get asked every day at the boat ramp “they still make them things?” lol. Also the XS 1000cc Stroker is one hell of a powerplant, not something anyone wants to lay down ontop of.
They actually have a samba 2 in the works. They completely redesigned it and leaked rumer has it looking like a rickter rc-1. Should be released in november at nationals.

SpectatorSPARTANBURG, S.C. — The Carolina Panthers have come to terms with quarterback Jimmy Clausen on a four-year contract that includes $2.53 million in guarantees, ensuring they’ll have no rookie holdouts at the start of training camp.
The second-round pick from Notre Dame agreed to his deal hours before the Panthers reported to Wofford College Wednesday. He was the last of Carolina’s 10 draft selections to be unsigned.
Agent Gary Wichard and the Panthers worked through the night to reach a deal, which was struck after a fourth-year escalator — a rarity for a second-round pick — was included that tops out at $2.85 million. The total package could be worth as much as $6.3 million.
Clausen likely will start practice Thursday as the third-string quarterback behind Matt Moore and Hunter Cantwell, but might eventually challenge Moore for the starting job. The Panthers released seven-year starter Jake Delhomme in the offseason.
Projected by many to be a top-10 pick, Clausen had a stunning fall in April’s draft, landing at Carolina with the 48th overall selection.

Clarification: Segways are for upper middle class people who think they’re rich.
Rich people use Ferraris. They’re never spotted on the sidewalk.

SpectatorMy aunt used to live in a ritzy neighborhood in Charlotte and a couple Panthers players had houses there. From what she said, if you didn’t know they were players you’d never tell by talking to them. Apparently off the field they’re really cool, laid back guys.

That’s the proper set of mood states for an elite athlete. They got an “on” & “off” button.

SpectatorOK, so at my job we have a high level of advisors that we can contact if we need some help on troubleshooting an issue, sometimes they are cool sometimes they are douches, it really just depends on who we get, it’s usually laid back, we try to be professional to a point, but keep it laid back. Anyways, today I had a chat with them I just couldn’t resist sharing, I have changed the name to protect myself and the advisor that I chatted with.
Advisor: Hi Jason
Advisor: So published pages in iweb do not turn blue to reflect they are published. The links in the blog do not work. The page color issue did not persist w/ the test acct, but the blog link issue did persist. You’d like to know how to proceed?
Jason: Bingo
Jason: And Hi

Advisor: Ok, and just to make sure, the customer has made sure to “Publish All” to Mobileme, correct? Also, can you give me the URL of the page where the links aren’t working?
Jason: Yes one sec.
Jason: http://web.me.com/mmtesting898890/www.discoveredtreasure.tk/writings/writings.html
Jason: And he did publish all.
Advisor: Ok, can you have him rename the site name http://www.discoveredtreasure.tk to something like just discoveredtreasure in iweb? Some times having a URL as a site name in iweb can cause issues.
Advisor: So I would like for his to change the site name in iweb to something that isn’t a URL.
Jason: Sure one sec.
Advisor: and after he’s done that, have him “publish all to mobileme” again
Jason: OK just waiting on him to respond.
Advisor: ok, can you try that next step, and if the issue does not resolve, please come back to redphone
Jason: Meh, can you give me some more to do, that would be a big waste if I have to come back after just doing that…
Advisor: please don’t “meh” in redphone
Advisor: we provide the next step and set you on your way
Advisor: And if you want to assist the customer in further isolating this issue, you can provide the steps from canned 19036 (from the wiki)
Advisor: which advises how to move the domain to a new user
Advisor: it would be helpful knowing whether the site publishes correctly from a new user
Jason: Don’t meh in redphone?
Jason: Are you kidding?
Advisor: no, I’m not
Advisor: that’s not appropriate communication
Advisor: if you have questions, ask your manager
Jason: Wow, OK.
Jason: Oh wait that probably isn’t appropriate either.
Jason: Sorry
Advisor: I have provided the next step in troubleshooting this issue. Are you comfortable in taking those steps and coming back to redphone if the issue persists?
Jason: Yeah sure
Advisor: thanks, have a good one
I was thinking to myself the whole time, wow dude grow a dong….

SpectatorStep 1 of professional customer support: Don’t end the conversation until the customer is happy, it’s apparent they cannot be made happy, or you need to investigate the problem and don’t want to waste the customer’s time.
