Major is concerned that Valve might reward the “non cheaters” like they did a year or so ago when idle servers were first created.
IMO, valve can barely catch real hackers and cheaters. I wouldn’t be concerned about doing anything unless it’s openly defined as cheating. They’re not going to pull a Blizzard and let everyone use it for months then ban 200,000 accounts at once.

I’ve had my account wiped once already for idling and I do not plan to do so again. It’s also convenient because i can idle all day on my laptop and do other things on my tower and vice versa.
I’ll get those id’s asap.
They wiped your acct? That sucks.
Shenanigans like that is why I cheated to get the “What are you trying to prove” achievement in L4D. I got tired of valve resetting it all the time.

oh btw, if the server is full and you want to join using the reserved slot then you must connect through console. Port 27050.

This one and the one attach to the forums are the only two I have.
We need sourcemod with the teleport plugin so I can meander into the other team’s spawn and rack up the achievements.

lol yeah seems like every engi i get to do it for me ends up killing me after i teleport and saying “HA HA”

I was gonna post and suggest we have admins on the idle server, but I think after the Halloween event, there won’t be any need for that anymore.
