SpectatorI don’t know what to think about the Saints. They’re definitely not the Ain’ts anymore, but even still, Drew Brees is not playing up to his potential. I also think Colston is a better receiver than how he’s performed this year. I could pretty much say that about any of the Saints players. At the beginning of the season, I thought it would be a run to the end with the Saints, not the Bucs.
That being said:
While the Panthers have had a few games where they fell asleep, two of them being(sadly) against NFC South rivals, I can see the Panthers running to the end with this one. Denver is playing at our house next week, which hasn’t been a good place for anyone this year. Then we get the Giants. I’m not nearly as worried about this game as I thought I would be. They’re beaten up. Eli is sucking. Plaxico is… Well, Plaxico is a freakin’ idiot. “Hey, I’ll just shoot myself in the foot. Metaphorically and literally.” Pierce has the cops asking him questions every time he goes to the sideline and I dunno what Jacobs’ problem is.
Basically what I’m trying to say is, when the Panthers and the Saints meet up at the end of the year, the Panthers will be playing for Home Field Advantage. That is, if we don’t Del-crash and Del-burn. Here’s to a good final game of the season!

and i actually cant wait for the panthers game…. especially with how you guys have been playing the recently. If the Saints can get a steady rhythm in the running game, and our D not to be old and sloppy to fight off ur running game we may have a chance to win. It could either be a raping win for you guys or a long hard fought win for the saints. i think at least lol

SpectatorDo any of you know why the Panthers won last week? Look at the stats for NFC South Home games vs NFC South opponents…ONLY TWO LOSES. GG, play in Tampa and see what happens
oh wait…Oct 12th, 27-3 much? lolllllllllBesides that…the saints have had injury problems with Colston and his thumb and Bush and his minescus. Add those two factors in for all the games they played and the Saints take the division easy. They score the 2nd most points in football right now behind the Cards. And for Bree’s not playing to potential?? Really bitey? So why is he on pace to break the record for Passing Yards in a single season? 5,084 by Marino…a legend. So if that’s not playing to potential, then idk what you say about Delhomme. But he’s a POS and everyone knows it. Get a good QB in the draft and then i say Carolina has chances for a SB.
Williams has finally gotten used to the NFL and runs with power. J Stew is a monster as is and will become the next Jacobs with more speed. I know he doesn’t have the physique but look at the way they run…downhill and over people. Carolina’s def is the next on the list for things that need improving. You beat the Buc’s…congrats. *edited* offense there..Garcia is too old and proved that last night by not being able to use his legs to ANY advantage.
K, /rant
On another note, i’m going to the Bears Saints game tmrw night and am SOOOO HAPPY lol Oh and HoeL i’ll be at the Bears Packers on the 22nd…gonna be sick. That could be a huge game for both of our teams. Looking for playoffs berths because we for sure ain’t taking any wildcards…So i heard the Williams are going to be suspended again?? I think..so if they are gone…BYE BYE minn, and Chitown and GB has a chance
December 10, 2008 at 8:53 pm #66017So-CaL A
Spectatoroh and for fun if you don’t believe J Stew is the new Jacobs…here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BLpSoIUPWCk
December 10, 2008 at 10:35 pm #66029HoEl
SpectatorThe Packers are already mathematically elminated from playoff contention, so it’s up to the Bears. And yes I did hear that the Williams players are not going to be suspended, which I find rediculous.
I think J-Stew will be alot and I mean alot better than Jacobs.
December 10, 2008 at 11:09 pm #66035So-CaL A
SpectatorActually, they aren’t but yea. Basically it’s up to my Bears. But dude only thing that sucks for J Stew is that D Williams had to come around this year or else J Stew is RoTY. Instead of maybe Matt Ryan or Matt Forte
lolDecember 11, 2008 at 10:33 am #66050HoEl
SpectatorLol since the year is pretty much over I moved on to baseball which is my true love. I crave the Brewers and I know alot of people hate baseball but man its a great strategic sport.

Spectatorgtfo with baseball
besides, the Braves will rise to the top again
December 11, 2008 at 5:06 pm #66078HoEl
SpectatorThe Braves have alot of work to do to compete again. Signing Burnett would be a start, and it wouldnt be smart for them to trade all their young player for Peavy, let the cubs trade them away.

SpectatorHOLY MESS BATMAN!!!
I am a friggin HUGE Cubs fan!!!! That’s where it is at SO-CAL…I knew I liked you for a reason. I am glad this thread is turning on baseball now because that is ma jam.
As for you Cub haters out there…you watch my Cubbies next year. They are gonna rape face in the NL Central once again. I guarantee you that the Brewers and St. Louis won’t even be able to sniff them by the end of the season. I wish they would have shown up in the playoffs this year tho. I am sure they would have won it if they could have gotten by those red hot Dodgers…
As for whoever mentioned the Braves…boo. that is all i am gonna say.

SpectatorMy friend made that post earlier cause he loves to talk football, I don’t know what your getting at about Buc’s having a bad defense, the Buc’s were 9-3 as were the Panthers. So saying they are a bad team or bad defense isn’t exactly a good statement. The Bears are currently 8-6, currently second in NFC North, the Panthers are first in the NFC South and as opposed to other years we actually won the games to get there instead of hoping certain teams would lose to get us a spot. True we need a better quarterback nothing about Delhomme is for certain and that makes it extremely hard, all we really need is a solid quarterback, one that will not crunch under pressure and we will have a solid team. As for when we played the Bucs the first time if you actually watched the game then you would know that the Panthers did not play that day, I don’t know what team played that day but it was sad. Home field may have been an advantage but the Panthers are a team that used to play way better on the road, I just think we get in ruts sometimes and it seems like the guys just don’t want to play. As for this coming Sunday I don’t think the Broncos will run us over, we do have home field advantage and if the story holds true then we should not be beaten at home, Broncos have a chance but if we go by statistics then Panthers have that game in the bag.
Oh yeah and Dice I will indeed be at the game against the Broncos!!!
December 12, 2008 at 1:55 am #66144Ex
SpectatorThe panthers only problem would be there QB he has this really big problem with sucking ballz i was very happy we got Mohammad back hell let the 2nd string guy play

December 12, 2008 at 11:29 am #66171So-CaL A
SpectatorI didn’t say a word about TB’s defense sucking, tbh i think they have one of the best Def’s around the league.
But the Panthers are 7-0 at home now, so on the road they are 2-3, yea…bout those facts.

Don’t even start with about the Bears lol we should not be 8-6 but for a few closes losses but w/e…we still have a chance to take the division with the sched that Minn has coming up…@Ari, NYG and someone else, maybe houston. But the Giants will stuff their faces and so will the Cards…NFC NORTH CHAMPS = BEARS..CALLING IT

Congrats you can beat the NL Central, good luck in the playoff…
December 12, 2008 at 1:16 pm #66178LuckySeven
SpectatorBears dont win the division sorry so cal your wrong. Has for del hommy what was the panthers record without him last season? I think he is a fine qb that manages the game well. I think they can win it all this year with him at qb. Also to say a 9-4 team is a bad team is a dumb statement. Just my 2 cents on the matter. Watch out for the eagles if they get in the playoffs.

Congrats you can beat the NL Central, good luck in the playoff…OMG HOEL!!! I can’t believe you are saying this to me lol…
Throughout the year…the NL central was the division to beat yo…in ANY other conference the Brewers and St. Louis would have lead in their divisions…they just couldn’t catch up to my Cubbies…I can’t help it that the Dodgers got hot at the end of the season and the Cubs started to cool down…that’s all that the Cub’s failure in the playoffs amounts up to, but go back and look at the NL west throughout the season…the Dodgers and Arizona were fighting for the lead in that division all year…WITH A LOSING RECORD…The Cubs had to finish the season winning nearly 100 games to win their division. ALL I’M SAYING
December 12, 2008 at 3:03 pm #66182HoEl
SpectatorNah I am not talking about last year, I am talking about last last 100 ha. Playoff time is not the best time of year for the Cubs, and you really cannot deny this.
December 12, 2008 at 5:15 pm #66198So-CaL A
SpectatorSo nate you don’t think we could put the pressure on Minnesota? They have…@Ari, Home against NYG and someone else.. lol
while the Bears have GB @ Home and then Houston in Houston. so i say if we can stop Brees…both those games are locks. And if we go 10-6 we win the NFC North. Minn i’ll go 9-7 or 8-8, sorry
December 12, 2008 at 6:39 pm #66204HoEl
SpectatorThe Bears still have a shot at the NFC north. If they win out and that includes beating GB and Minny looses 1 I believe them have the tie breaker.
December 12, 2008 at 6:50 pm #66205HoEl
SpectatorBy the way, I’m bot very bitter that the Brewers lost Sabathia by any means but how *edited*ing *edited* are the Yankees, typical case of them trying to buy a championship. I don’t know how someone could be a fan of that honest to god. Now they signed Burnett to an $82 Million dollar deal, I am actually surpirsed that don’t have Man Ram or Teix on their radar.
December 12, 2008 at 8:39 pm #66209LuckySeven
SpectatorAbout the yanks u have to give it to them they will put the money on the table to win. So i really dont have a problem with what they do. Everyone else could do the same thing and choose not to so…
December 12, 2008 at 8:53 pm #66210HoEl
SpectatorThey are the evil empire. No one else has the money and everyone actually produces someone with significance to their team. Just being a small market team’s fan like the Brewers it really just annoying to see them dish out the money like they do. The Yanks are the main reason why free agency is wacky lol. The reason why the NFL is a very competitive leauge is because it’s pretty close to an even playing field because of the salary cap, and well you have to admit this is one of the first playoff’s in a while that new teams were in it besides the usual.
December 14, 2008 at 4:04 pm #66447HoEl
Spectatorlol, another 4 point or less loss for my Packers. 6 of them this year.
December 14, 2008 at 10:49 pm #66538Bitey
SpectatorBroncos – 10 …. Panthers – 30 …. Hmm…. I told you so?
On a side note I loved being able to be there it was a blast!
