SpectatorOk, I will be there
anything in particular I should think about bringing up at the meeting?October 19, 2008 at 11:18 am #60146Bitey
SpectatorThanks for posting this up Mike, I also want to point out that we should not be there the whole time this time unless we have a lot of things to discuss and vote on, we most certainly need to vote on the things for the LAN and get that business out of the way.

SpectatorYeah. It’ll be considerably shorter if everyone actually bothers to just focus on business and let the socializing take place before or after the meeting. Plus it helps out we’re not doing elections. Hopefully there would be some open discussion on prior suggestions to make the LANs better. I know I’ve talked with Chris and Jason about this a lot and provided my suggestions and opinions.

Spectatoralrighty… if y’all think you might need any ideas from me or any advice on marketing, send me a text message (i’m on verizon network if y’all got free texting) beforehand and I can be there by phone… if not, just say that my suggestion for the LAN is to have all y’all good people there… I’ll be there, and I want to see all yo smilin faces.

SpectatorWhy dont we just plan out an agenda and keep the noise control to a minimum? Just get people to post th topics we need to dicuss and follow the list. I know this has already been done on the front page of the site but doing a thorough one here would be a good idea.
October 20, 2008 at 7:45 pm #60260Liam
SpectatorThis needs to be added to the agenda and absolutely needs to be handled at the upcoming meeting.
Our license for IP Board and IP Gallery is expiring in November. The renewal is $30.00 for IP Board and $30.00 for IP Gallery, and we have to purchase the license for both, so that will be $60.00.
Thanks
-Liam

A few dollars from a bunch of people goes a long way. $60 isn’t exactly a fortune.

Technically, this would constitute a Due and SGA Supplimental funding does NOT cover club dues! We should have the money in our own Gaming Club Paypal account!

Spectatorgxti and I personally got the fund for the website from SGA when we switched over from the old e107 website,, SGA also agreed at the same time to the cover the annual fee after they got a note from our faculty adviser (AJ).

If they ask for documentation I will do what I can to find it in the email.

Just ask Shane.
October 21, 2008 at 2:26 am #60314Bitey
SpectatorShane did that himself and he admitted to that, he wasn’t “nice” to them, thats why he had me, Karen, and Becca go in and smooth things over with them, as far as I know, now we are in pretty good standing with them, they just got their funds nerfed so that is why they are a bit stingy with money.
I don’t agree with how they treated Shane, I think he did the best he could with them, but there was a lot of miscommunication that went down and ended *edited*ing a few of the wrong people off.

you need to sign the papers, the adviser, and the treasure
October 21, 2008 at 11:20 am #60341Bitey
SpectatorAh well, get me the papers and I will sign them as well as get advisors signature, then I will give them back to you so you can sign it and turn it in.
October 21, 2008 at 7:16 pm #60419Nalgenie
SpectatorI am not the main contact for SGA. I actually have nothing to do with SGA this year! And yes they agreed to cover the cost in the past, however, that was a different president and that was at a point in school history when SGA had over $30,000 to give to clubs and organizations. This year, their budget is very limited. I really do not see the point in requesting this money from them when we have the money in our own account to cover the cost. If we aren’t gonna spend the gaming club money on prizes for winners, we should put it towards keeping the IP Board and IP gallery alive! IMO!

Everyone is required to bring their pray mat to the meeting. The entire time we will be bowing towards adambombs house. In fact, the meetings just a cover up for our secret pray sesh.
