I think you overestimate the viewing public’s intellect. Clerks only lasted six episodes, yet Tim & Eric is now in its fourth season. I prove my point.

The Simpsons should have been cancelled a decade ago. At least the crappy opening now matches the crappy show. It’s like they took the old opening and randomly threw in a bunch of out-of-place references.
