dRuGLa: If you have such serious problems with the servers, the rules, and how they’re run, you can feel free just not to play here. There’s plenty of other servers out there, and we don’t need you *edited*ing around at ours.
wanna know how you know you have to many admins?
people in charge don’t even know how there are.
(Liam clearly didnt, & Major said 25, which is less than there are)
It’s sad how some of you people dont respect the opinions of older members & use foul language & instantly wave off thoughts.
Hear adam gets fussed at now-a-days too.

I really don’t see whats wrong with a lot of admins. Just means more people to keep the peace. I think MasterP said something about if theres a lot of admins, they tend to goof off and abuse. I agree with that, I’ve seen it before (in appstate) but I think our current admins know better than that (the ones whom made the cut when Major took power).

I know I’ve seen you in the server, but I haven’t seen you on the forums until recently. Although you might be friends with Adam and/or started playing here a long time ago, if you don’t make your presence known, you can’t expect everyone to know who you are when you decide to pull seniority. It seems like some of the current admins don’t really know who you are — myself included — and you’re trying to talk to us like we owe you respect. I’m not dismissing your opinions, but you can’t expect people to automatically show respect for someone who, as far as I can see, hasn’t really been active within the community (you’ve been registered on the forums for three years, but 29 of your 32 posts are just from the last four days). And like I said, I see you in the server sometimes, but the impression I got was that a few of our regulars (and a few admins like Poopie and Major) know you, but you’re not very active otherwise. I’m just saying how I see it; I can’t say how others might see you, but based on some admins’ reactions here (ren, rayz, briefs, so-cal), I wouldn’t be surprised if they have a similar impression.
I read your posts and I take what you say to heart, but I wouldn’t go around complaining about respect to people who don’t know you.
At first I was joking, shed off your little rude remarks and conceded notions of how to properly run a server.
What I was implying was this:
its not realistic to give online volunteers, which is what admins are, scheduled or set hours. It just can’t happen. We are all in college and our lives are already busy. I am sorry if I seemed to shed your opinion off in the very beginning, but I honestly don’t think 28 admins are to many. I personally have been on with at most 4 admins at a time. If you were offended by my sarcasm I am sorry again, but that’s just how I communicate on the forums, I will try to be more SERIOUS for you.
back to the argument:
other than not being realistic for admins to come on at certain times, execs and higher up’s also have lives that are already busy as hell. Your solution to this is to add a “times played” on the app, but that doesn’t solve the problem you are crying about, the one where you say we have too many admin. I think it’s a great idea, but you can’t with the current ones. And I still think there is a comfortable amount of admin, especially since a great majority are tempered gamers.
We have in the past, as you might remember, tried having a reserved admin powers for the top 3 ranking admin/execs. It worked out okay, and I never minded it, but I don’t make the rules here I just promote them.
And don’t try and pull the Adam card. We all know him, and love him, but that has nothing to do with what is going on right now. There is a difference between respecting your elders and letting them pass, and I think its time you passed.
ALSO, Liam checked all the 28 admins, and they are all active, which is not a bad thing. Having active admins who haven’t abused ANY sort of power is a GREAT thing. Also we have this 3 strikes policy, where if any admin does get out of line will get punished accordingly. Having more admin on to patrol each other is a great way to ensure that abuse is kept to 0.
In response to what Briefs said, I have never been on when there was more than at most 3 or 4 admins on. And you know why I enjoy that many admins? Because I can play, knowing there are other eyes watching other than my own.
You should act what you preach. You say its funny how people just wave off your thoughts, kinda like you waved my thoughts off. I may not be to bright, but I am pretty sure that’s called a Hypocrite.
So please don’t be rude and call me a retard or dumbass. It really hurts my feelings and/or entices me to post more and more.

btw, I forgot to mention this, but I, too, like having a couple of admins in the server (not 10, but I’ve never seen it that high. The most I’ve seen is 4 so far). We don’t goof around (although a couple of people could stop using tsay so much for non-admin stuff) AND when there are some sketchy players in there, we talk to each other in admin chat to see what the others think. It’s good to get other people’s thoughts, imo, and I like that someone else is there to help with the server. Yes, we’re admins, but we’re not perfect. Sometimes other admins will slay someone I didn’t see because I went afk temporarily or they’ll tell someone to plant the bomb because I was too engrossed in chat for that round. Ten admins is a lot (but how often does this even happen?), yes, but having a few admins in there at a time isn’t a bad thing. I haven’t seen anything bad come out of a few admins policing the server at the same time.
