LEFT 4 DEAD 2 PRE-RELEASE DEMO!!!
Initial thoughts:
Feels just like L4D (once your settings are all set how you like them).
Looks at least twice as nice tho.
Zombies GIB and seem to have nicer physics.
More gore! Little ribbons of blood along with the usual spurts.
Shoot a zombie in the back, their skin is ripped off and you can see their spine and ribs and muscles.
Special Infected appearances updated! Look much better than in L4D.
Each Special Infected has multiple appearances! This is very nice, but… female boomer……
New Special Infected!
Charger, not nearly as tough as the tank, but WAY faster. Running tackle that keeps going, carrying you away from the group.
Spitter, projectile acid spit, spreads over a small area on impact, alot like a Molotov. Also busts open in a wide area when killed. Great at area denial.
Jockey, kinda like the hunter but rides you around making you move randomly, possibly off a ledge, or into a group of zombies, etc.
Witch… wanders. Yeah, she moves (during day maps). Makes here alot more of a threat.

More weapons!
Starting shotgun and smg are not as useful as the usual L4D starting weapons, making things much harder right of the bat.
Weapon detail is great! Some weapons have flashlights zip-tie’d to them. Models are also much nicer overall.
MELEE WEAPONS ARE AWESOME!
Very strong, has a slight area of effect fan.
Not all the same effect, police baton swings faster, frying pan has a wider swing, etc.
Have not yet seen the GL.
BILE BOMB OMG REVERSE BOOMER boom a tank and zombies will go after him, epic.
Melee or sidearm, your choice, but not both, but that’s ok, because you can get a DEAGLE! Fav gun, evenmoreso than the primary guns.
Other Items too!
Sun sets as you progress through the levels, so later levels in a campaign will be at night, or it may become night in the middle of a level.
Zombies behave slightly differently at night.
There are so many changes that it makes sense that this couldn’t be DLC or an addon to the first, but L4D2 should last longer before a another L4D is made.
