What’s the point Bitey? I appealed the first time I was wrongfully banned, I shoudn’t have to do it again. You guys are awesome, and I always enjoyed playing WCU, but at the end of the day I don’t appreciate being punished for skill or luck, and I’m not saying I’m the best player in the world. As bracket pointed out, if certain people hold all the authority to decide this kind of stuff, and certain of them are unclear about what a hacker is in Counter-Strike, then I can’t do anything more on this one server than say goodbye to the regulars and play elswhere. Everyone on WCU including all the admins know I don’t hack in this game, it just makes no sense for a player who’s been with CS since long before Steam even existed to wallhack or aimbot or whatever it is I’m being accused of. My old school CS friends would think I’m wasting my time even posting this thread, but I have had a lot of fun on WCU and I can’t just leave without a word. Alas, I don’t believe it’s worth my time to fight against a ban so random and uncalled for that it clearly should not have been issued in the first place, not when it would likely just happen again down the road. If the ban is lifted, great: I’ll pop in here and there and play, whatever. I’ve played and adminned so many servers in the past that I’m not gunna cry about this one just because I was banned for being pretty good at CS, this is far from the first time it’s happened. One thing that bugs me, and I’ll say it because it’s been cracking me up for the past few days, is that I was banned based on a demo of me playing an extremly subpar round of CS, in my opinion. I wasn’t in the zone, I wasn’t playing that well for my standards. I’d rather get the boot for doing something insane, I mean why couldn’t a 7-kill headshot-only team ace with a bomb defusal have gotten on the demo? Things don’t always work out in your favor, sadly. :D
