His internet is fine and his computer is GODLY, but he gets these lag spikes. His ping is like constant 40s. How long has this problem been happening? I know ver1tas has the same issue and it frustrated him enough to fresh install windows to see if something was wrong…but it ended up just being a simple isp problem that only caused his cs to ping really bad for spikes.
I would tell him to delete his clientregistry.blob file see if that works…if not then update all software and hardware drivers…if not do a fresh install of counterstrike…if not then fresh install windows…….but if its just a recent thing make sure to contact your isp and see if they did something recently.
