theirs not a map vote plugin out that does “Can’t play any of the last #maps played.” options.. (if their is someone link us) and idk anyone here thats going to code it for us… it would be awesome if we can get it.. but straight up random map vote is sadly going to fail, its been tried off and on for 4 years in 1.6 and css and hands down rotation gets less complaints.. i’m all for trying something different, but keep in mind straight up map voting is the same old thing that does not work out all to well. its one of the things where you cant please everyone.
IMA it wasent until this week was anyone complaining about the rotation, and it seems more complaining about RTV/voting than the rotation (just my observation)… idk When people are given the option to vote between maps and they dont get their way and their map got rejected, alot of times they just go find a server with the map they voted for. if in rotation the map ends it goes to a new map peacefully without the option of getting rejected. i guess thats why it done so well in the past… i dont know why really,, just my thoughts/opinions. maybe look into tweaking RTV settings b4 making a decision on doing map voting?
