Ok i just wanted to say that its kinda gettin old in the pub now the same maps being played over and over and when they rtv they forever go to the same maps OVER and OVER i mean they rtv 1 map choose snow when the map right after that is snow same thing with inferno and awp_dust , these 4 maps which are snow , inferno , awp_dust and well id ont think office is being played to much but those 3 maps are being a tad bit over played i mean i know snow attracts people but same thing as D2 thaqt map is as well as OVER played need more maps on the rotation and i wanna help!!!

if rtv was somehow fixed, so the same handful of maps weren’t played over and over,, and the normal rotation was back in place,, is the general consensus to still add more maps even if they arnt so popular?
i’m all for trying new things.. but its always best to do them slowly. doubling the map size is gonna cause all sorts of havoc
i think at least adding more maps would get rid of the issue of playing the same *edited* over and over.
well im thinking about replacing de_vertigo with de_prodigy cause vertigo has stayed its welcome,
awp_dust imma lower to 15 mins, dunno why its at 25 atm.
there is a new version of SK that i wanna add in, but HEY new maps are SWEET
we can add some new ones in again if ya want

Should be a vote at the end of the map, with nominations.
Can’t play any of the last #maps played.
Then can get rid of rtv too.

thats what i’ve always wanted to do, but everytime i bring it up i get a wave of negativity. Make a vote and see what people currently want. We do have a lot of new members who may have different ideas.
i honestly think u should do the vote at the end of the map , add like 1 billion maps to the pub and just let the server choose which it wants to throw out there to vote b/c the same maps over and over are gettin boring and omg PRODIGY i love it!

I agree with the idea of adding a bunch of new maps (BUT NOT TO MUCH so we can have normal gameplay), and Voting at the end, its fair. When i started in WCU i suggested that but everyones liek NO! NO!
theirs not a map vote plugin out that does “Can’t play any of the last #maps played.” options.. (if their is someone link us) and idk anyone here thats going to code it for us… it would be awesome if we can get it.. but straight up random map vote is sadly going to fail, its been tried off and on for 4 years in 1.6 and css and hands down rotation gets less complaints.. i’m all for trying something different, but keep in mind straight up map voting is the same old thing that does not work out all to well. its one of the things where you cant please everyone.
IMA it wasent until this week was anyone complaining about the rotation, and it seems more complaining about RTV/voting than the rotation (just my observation)… idk When people are given the option to vote between maps and they dont get their way and their map got rejected, alot of times they just go find a server with the map they voted for. if in rotation the map ends it goes to a new map peacefully without the option of getting rejected. i guess thats why it done so well in the past… i dont know why really,, just my thoughts/opinions. maybe look into tweaking RTV settings b4 making a decision on doing map voting?

There definitely is a “cant play last #maps”… seen it time & time again.
& It works, weeds out non-regulars sometimes but it works.
Theres even on setup where the map HAS to have over 50%, & if it doesnt it does another vote with top2 maps.
RTV isnt gonna work out to well at all. Specially when you have admins who spam RTV.
& only want snow.

I think we are lacking a fun variety of maps. The regular maps are solid, prodigy maybe for vertigo, but I don’t those little changes will bring the pop back up. A couple of key customs would definitely freshen up the server temporarily at least. Also it’s a small map, so downloading it shouldn’t be to much of a hassle, and the size of it makes for quick intense rounds with minimal camping.
another map that I miss:
oilrig – this map is annoying when overplayed, but 10-15 minutes every once and a while can’t be bad
de_westwood would be awesome to add to our server.
I think adding a couple of “cal” maps would be good too…I know that I hate with a bloody passion cpl_tdm but maybe we should add it back in so if it gets chosen it gets played….thats saying if enough people like it.

I see d2 and snow being played over and over again.
deag5 doesnt work for some reason… you dont spawn with guns
toss a vote up for westwood, i really like it so a 15-20 min slot would be nice
