maybe, all i know is its not working at all. and it never has since day one. updates dont fix it. this problem is amoungs many (via google) and knowone has a fix for it.

Notepad is a VERY frequent target for viruses and malware programs, try googleing a replacement .exe for it.
i think the problem is b/c of dule montors. i can see it pull up as its goign to the other screen,, but the other screen is not conneted. and when it is connected same thing.
