your IP address can NOT be a 192.168.x.x address if you are plugged directly into your cable/dsl modem; that address is given from a router. Do the IP release/renew while directly plugged in and show me if you get an IP. IF YOU DO, (something that does not start with 192.168.x.x), try typing in the command prompt “ping http://www.wcugaming.org” and see if you get responses. If you do, your internets is working and its something f***ed up with your PC. Please tell me you don’t have Norton Internet Security installed!
