Well luckily for AMD, ATI is starting to turn out some decently competitive products (have you read anything on the new ATI IGP? it bests lowend discrete nvidia cards!). The problem AMD has is this whole Phenom thing… and they have so much invested in it there is really no way out. Plus ATI getting behind the ball with their last couple of generations of cards means it will take quite some time before they start making money again. I honestly don’t know how they can survive.
