If noise is a problem you could tell them to settle down. The PS3 PEOPLE were so loud we could hear them better than the PC game WITH headphones on the farthest PC tables. I’m all about getting into your game but there’s really no need to be that loud.
I do find it odd that people with headphones can hear the announcements but people without them can’t. That should tell you something about TV volume. Maybe a solution is to seperate the tournaments farther apart but one quick fix is to just keep all of them lower. You’re 2 feet from the TV after all.
I think having the stage removed is a good idea as that could instantly double the console section. Doubling their space for free is a much better idea than doubling the overhead required to host the event by having it in 2 rooms/days. If you want them in 2 rooms they need to be on the same day and actually follow the predefined tournament times. That way when the MP room attracts people they can send the PC gamers upstairs and vice versa.
