I suppose this is the right forum. IF YOU CAN FIX THIS ILL SUCK YO DI^^ Anyways, my mouse seems to be broken, or is it? I bought the mouse about 4 months ago and it worked perfectly up until about a week or two ago. Something funny, i had the same problem on my previous pc that was running XP and i ended up destroying the pc trying to fix this same problem with the exact same mouse(flashed the BIOS wrong blah blah blah). I am not exactly sure what is wrong with the mouse. The mouse seems to be dying. It will turn off them come on in 2 seconds. Although, sometimes the mouse does not come back on and i get an error saying “A USB device malfunction”. However, I dont think the mouse is broken. I tried using the mouse on my other pc and it worked good. I have also tried using another mouse on this pc and it worked. I have tried uninstalling the mouse from device manager and reinstalling. Same with USB controllers. Didn’t work. Sometimes when i did this the mouse wouldn’t install correctly. The mouse would be detected as “Uknown Device”, but oddly the driver successfully installed. Even more unusual, the mouse didnt work. I mean why wouldnt it work if the driver install was successful. I tried reformatting the PC as well, which didn’t work. In conclusion, if you are good at fixing computers please help. I WOULD SAY I HAVE A SOMEWHAT GOOD KNOWLEDGE OF THE PC AND HOW TO RUN IT SO DONT BE SCARED TO GET ADVANCED  , AND DONT POST STUPID SH*T THAT ANYONE WOULD KNOW UNLESS ITS WHAT FIXES THE MOUSE <_>

Generally when your getting those types of errors, its as MasterP said a driver issue, or its a power / usb port issue.

You’ve already tested the mouse on another pc and it works. The light is going off and on. Try another USB port.
