Ok, we will start with where to aim. Below is the hitboxes on Counter-Strike 1.6.

    hitboxes.jpg

As you can see, no matter where you aim you’re 99% likely to hit the left arm. Next we will move on to wall densities.

    walls.jpg

As you can see, there really isn’t much point to having walls in 1.6. You can shoot right through them.

Next we move on to awping. It’s really easy here to:

    awp.jpg

Clearly you don’t need to aim anywhere near them to score a death blow.

Next we move on to grenades. Below is the blast radius of a 1.6 grenade.

    grenblast.jpg

As long as you throw the nade within 3/4’s of the map, you are sure to score 70+ damage.

Last but not least is the wonderful physics of 1.6. Below is an example of the powerful physics engine inside of 1.6.

Man that’s amazing! State of the art!!!

the real question is where did that awp shot hit?

    left arm ftw

    #26548

    A+ 100% right, 100% true.

Left arm the size of Oprah + amazing physics engine = WIN

    #26549

you should see the gernade of CZ

Oh BTW: Kuros, i cant waif for your 101 on TF2

PS: this should be titled “this is why 1.6 is the most played game ever released” they are going something right.

    1.6 at 80,740 players to CS:S petty 38,961

    Counter-Strike 6.750 billion

    Counter-Strike: Source 1.928 billion

And how many of those 1.*edited* players “can’t play source on their laptops?”

no i think its b/c ppl are cheap; even my crappy laptop can play sauce.

Take potion#9 for example, he has a system more than capable but he is too cheap to spend $20 for CS:S.

Besides, we all know that 1.6’s physics are OMGWTFBBQ so much better than source!

Well we have obvious screen shot evidence of the power of HL1’s engine.

its good to have a game thats so kick *edited* that i can play on with a $50 machine with

    Windows® 95,

    Pentium® 133

    24 MB RAM

and still kick *edited* having equal amounts of fun on a $2000 machine running CS:S

personally on my pc source just isn’t the same, dont hate me but i find it easier then 1.6 x_x

    #26573

everyone agrees 1.6 is not the same a CS:S same concept CT v. T’s and is a FPS.. but so many changes were made. We just like cracking on eachother…. i play both.

Source is “funner” but hands down 1.6 is “better”

I like to have fun when i play its not about points so i play source more often…

I almost can agree that 1.6 is more a “hardcore” game while source is more a casual fun game. But I’d rather have fun anyday :)

    1. Is this supposed to be a joke or serious?

    2. Some walls you cant shoot through

    3. Have you ever heard of interp? to sum it up the hitboxes follow behind the player.

    4. That nade radius is WRONG

    5. And if it is a joke, LOLOLOLOL

GOOD JOB using *edited* from two years ago trife, not only are those models not even used anymore, the hitboxes have been completely fixed and don’t trail ahead or behind. Also to sum it up your game still has a problem with interp, you try to mimic those settings in source and you can’t, wonder why? Also, how bout some mad *edited* talk about how bigger models make it easier, I would LOVE to hear the logical fallacies there. QQ
