I mean ATT is bad to drop calls with 3+ bars. Their cell partitioning is terrible. Tbh, I think I could have designed a better system than they use, and I dropped my wireless communication class. It’s almost like their system is incapable of seamlessly handshaking clients between towers if the receiving tower is anywhere capacity.
I have to say though, I’ve had maybe 30 dropped calls in 6 years with Verizon, with 4 of those being in the mountains where reception is poor at best and nonexistant on anyone but Verizon and ATT.
One problem I’ve noticed with ATT is that it doesn’t actually register it as a dropped call. I can be talking to my dad with 4 bars and my phone will go back the home screen, I redial him and he’s like “wtf it didn’t even say I lost you”. Not registering their dropped call as a dropped might be why they claim to have the fewest dropped calls.
