lol well in that case lets get this back on the right track here. The banking system just took it in the A. What do we do to fix it?
How did this turn into a discussion on the middle east? Its supposed to be about socialism. Get back to talkin about socialism i wanna know what you all think.
As for them taking my money as it stands now there is not much I can do or anyone else for that matter. If they banks fail they fail and FDIC only covers up to so much. 100k I think. I dont keep my money in the bank anyways I keep them in something much more stable and secure and that is real estate. Im fixing to have my best year ever with my assets grown from 8.2mil to 8.9mil. if things keep going the way they are. Banks in general fail because they take your money and lend it to someone else and hope they get it back to pay you back. Alot of banks all of a sudden are insolvent because they lent to much. The government im sure can do a much better job of running our big banks they the ceos do. Its a little sad that they take 16mil a year for running it and they drive it into the ground. The only way to win in the middle east is to really do scorched earth. No one will drop any nukes on anyways because it would mean instant death for them and they all know that. The us knows this too thats why we have em but we will never use them. Its like a cop we all know he has a gun but chances are he will never even pull it out infront of us.

War is not bad for the economy in fact its just the opposite. When your in a depression you go to war to bring the economy out because that means the government is spending money in private companies. This thread was not supposed to be about war anyways atleast I didnt think it was. The issue at hand is socialism in America and the sad truth is that it is here. It has been here since October and it wont go away anytime soon. Free trade is dead and gone it doesnt work and we proved it.
I mean come on there is a huge problem when citibank’s stock is worth less then the fee they charge to use an atm. The banking crisis is actually the governments fault because they got lazy on the fannie may and freddie mac standards. They knew banks were doing wrong but they still took the packaged mortgages. The sad truth is that come companies cant go under. It would hurt the us to much so the only real answer is to throw money at it in hopes of making it go away. I still support the idea of breaking up big businesses into smaller ones so that we never run into this problem again.

a little off topic but can you bring back the swap ghost shield thing. In the fun night last night once you spawned you were dead again. With the shield you wont have this problem.
So you think we should just nuke the whole place? It has been proven time and time again that an invading army will always fail unless they are willing to do scorched earth tactics. We had no reason to go in there in the first place and it was a much better place untill we went in there. Now you hear reports every day of people blowing everything up. I see that sadam had to rule with an iron fist because if not he would lost control like we have done. At any rate that is off topic. Certain things need to be taken over by the government like banking. We are after all using paper money that is backed by the government it only makes sence for them to control it.

I cant tell if you were joking or not…I dunno how well you all follow the news when it comes to the economy but I follow it like a hawk and the sad part is that yes some companies are so big and vital that the government cant let them fail. As it stands now the government has some stake in every major bank in the us right now. They forced Bank of America to take tarp funds and with it BofA had to give some stock to the government. It will happen more and more often as we get deeper and deeper into the depression. America was the beacon of hope for free trade but everyone sees what a mess we made and they are no longer supporting free trade.
Well master p is it really punishment? Look at gm for example they are so big and have become so big yes they were a great company but they really messed up in the 80s and 90s and now look. They are so big that we cant let them fail. If one just one of these super companies fails it messed up not just the us economy but the worlds economy. Why should I as a tax payer be paying for gms mistakes? I love gm I love a few of their cars but they really did mess up and refused to build a product that people wanted. They might be asking for another 17 billion dollars….thats ontop of the what 13 billion they have already been given…If you follow what I said and break em up into at the very least individual brands like pontiac chevy and what not then it would not be nearly as devistating for the economy if they let one or 2 of them fall. Yes I do believe they need to file for bankruptcy because they can get out of the UAW contract and start all over but at this current time with the economy like it is the last thing we need is a few more thousand people looking for jobs over night. Either way you cut it someone will always have to pay. Why should it be the average joe like you an me? Why not make the ceo pay I mean come on the current ceo of gm took home like 16 million last year. Why is he taking so much when he has run that company into the ground and why do we as tax payers have to pay to keep the company open when the ceo wont even give back a dollar.
How do you figure whatever the government controls does bad? Look at our baking system now for the most part the big banks are owned by the government and its just the way it needs to be. I dunno if you all saw 60 min this past sunday but they came up with a good idea. Setting a limit on how big a business can get. After it gets to the point where our banks are at now it is forced to split up. If you do this then you can afford to let them fail. Its a sad truth but the end of free trade is here.
Ok that might be true. I just see the problems this drug causes every *edited* day and its very very bad for business I cant even go meet my freaking clients without getting body guards to meet me at the border when two years ago I would go over there and get so drunk I couldnt find my way back home. I say legalize it, you can tax it and that alone is like the best thing in the world and you dont have to waste money trying to stop the drug from getting into the us. If you talk to any border patrol agent or DEA they will all say the same thing its a losing battle and they are the losing ones. We dont catch enough of it yet we waste so much money on it every year. That new border fence…its so fail I drive by it ever day and before the fence was even finished it already had a hole cut in it and drugs were being smuggled through the hole.
We played this map this morning and it was still messed up but still so much fun. We had an epic knife fight too.

Yeah but there is a limit to really how high you can get…I have alot of friends who do pot and its really easy to get. I would say out of all my friends who do pot maybe 10% do other drugs and they did those other drugs b4 pot. I mean if they make it legal of course put an age limit on it like cigs. More people get cancer from cigs then they do from pot but pot has more cancer causing carcinogens. It would be interesting to see what would happen if it were legalized. In the end no one knows if its a good thing or not untill it is happens. We spend to much money on a losing battle against drugs as it is so why not try it the other way?
The stuff that you can get from mexico isint that bad at all actually. The government spends BILLIONS of dollars a year to try and stop it from flowing in and in reality they only stop about 10-20% of it. Its a losing battle and its not the states that need to legalize it. Some parts in Cali have it legalized its the feds who need to legalize it. As for the other crime you are wrong. Most people who do pot only stick with pot. It really isint a gateway drug.
I will admit i look fat in that picture but im really not. That is kinda an old pic anyways like August old and alot has changed since then. Wildthang is not hotter then me either.
Um yeah I actually do this every year. Once a year and this happens in most states too btw but in texas the texas association of realtors organizes a trip to austin to talk to your congressman about new laws and what you want and dont want passed so yeah I do things to help out and talkin about it helps organize your ideas.
Well eating food for the most part doesnt mess with your judgment except for turkey it makes you sleepy but pot on the other hand messes with you. Try doin 160 high as a kite it does not work out so well because you get stacked vision like when source lags and you get an image on top of another on top of another and each image changes just a little bit. Doesnt work so well when your trying to drive really fast because you dont realize there is a bend in the road or there is a car infront of you.
