Laying It Down

Ok, so there are 50 things going on in this section and I’m going to take a few moments to lay it out, partly for myself cause i get confused fast, and partly for you guys so you know whats going on.

~First off, the server slot number is staying where it’s at for now. Most of the time the population is around 22-25 so there is no reason to raise the slot numbers until there is a problem connecting constantly.

~For the rotation. I plan to start “testing” out new maps on the server as suggested by Spain. We will keep it to one custom map at a time and if the server hates it then we will get rid of it. If the server loves it then we will keep it. Most likely we will be getting rid of de_pf_dust2 in favor of a more popular aim/awp map. I’m leaning toward awp_dust(15) but I will throw up a vote later and see.

~As for Nades Mod and Knife Duel Mod, I really like each of these mods, but to prevent the 1.6 server from getting laggy and all bumble*edited*ed from a *edited*load of custom mods, we are going to hold off from putting either on the server. Once we settle into a good rotation and a routine with the server then we can consider adding one of them to the server.

~Slot reservations will remain only for admins and execs. If a system to allow very active members to gain them comes up then we will consider it, but for now it will remain unchanged.

~We will be bringing back the “I am the one and only”. I miss it dearly and it needs to come back.

~We will never add a surf map to the server while I’m around, so stop asking.

~As for uberslap, I used to admin on a server with it and it becomes a constant means for admin abuse. I just see a lot of issues with it coming back onto the server, especially when we are still in a growing phase and could easily drive people away.
