    General donations are up. You can donate any amount of money you wish to keep the club going. These donations will help make the LAN events awesome.

    liam, i think a better spot would be renaming the “download section on the main page” as thats not going to happen anytime soon.

     

    also we should look into a nice raffle at the lan event. These were very popular in past events.

    Hows about we use the door prize tickets as raffle tickets? Instead of giving them out we can just let people buy one for a buck.

    Last time this was done people bought strings of tickets.

    most people are going to assume or trade tickets with others after their win is drawn.

    Raise the ticket price for raffle. Do names in a hat, random number generator, w/e for door prizes.

    whats wrong with people donating more money?

    yes they get better odds, but they donated twards it.

     

    their will be no insentive for people to donate but the bare min if their is no personal gain on their end.

     

    its not my call, but i would allow people that donate more get more tickets thus increasing their odds. this is how every raffle on the face of the earth works .02

    Yup and if you want them to not give their tickets away, then just write their name on the ticket.

    I think most of you missed Kuros’ original point. He meant to SELL the raffle tickets instead of giving them away for free at the door. Every time we’ve sold tickets for the raffle, even if the raffle was for a single item, it has been very successful.

    I was just going to give away half of whatever we made on raffle tickets. More people will do it if they are going to win cash.
