Apologies, but it was my first attempt at a tournament, so lets turn this into a learning experience shall we?
scratch that, it works, for some reason, it was locking up at the user liscence agreement.
I have a Witch Hunter on some random server, and i have a Chosen on Dark Crag which seems to be the server everyone’s playing on.
Well actually, most of the people in the club dislike 2(turtle)fort…
anyway…
I originally planned to have 3 rounds on steamroll but the higher ups pushed it along after the first round for the sake of time.
i allowed the sandvich and the kritzkrieg, but banned eveything else, so no complaint there…
bitey announced over the intercom when the maps went live and I went over the rules and maps before we started the tournament.
I feel the coin toss thing might be a good idea, and it would be faster too, as for stalemates, I think the first to cap the middle point on granary was a pretty good idea.

no n64 for me?
fine. its over between us nickname </3
sry major, but I do live on campus… and 5 bux for an N64? sold… plus i never got to play perfect dark…
1. I will make sure of this next time, although i dont think we will be using steamroll anymore…
2. ok, i’m thinking in case of a stalemate, it goes to a coin toss and the winner gets to pick which map we play.
3. 2 1/2 hrs seem ok? because its gonna take way more time than either COD4 or CS:S
4. brackets go as follows, 1v4 and 2v3, winner moves on and losers play each other for third place, the winners play for second and first. and if we have more teams, it’ll take a little time to figure that out.
oog i sense a little bit of deja vu…
Major, you are right, the way the game is played is completely different, and should be treated is such.
and Kuros, that is your opinion and i have played both games to get a better perspective and i happen to like TF2 better because it is incredibly balanced and it also has a twisted sense of humor.
I mean at least post this kind of thing in the TFC board
Ok, the main reason they took out most of that stuff, is to balance it out and make newcomers feel more welcome. also I happen to play and enjoy both, although I play FF more than TFC.
Oh and no posting *edited* like this, this just takes up space and annoys people to high hell.
woo, i’ll take the N64 and Perfect dark cuz i have the expansion thing in my old 64 at home, jus wish you were selling star fox too…
yeah yeah, ha ha, i watched you play so i get it ephraim…
anyway
i did advertise in the dorm, its just all the people who said they were gonna come had other plans all day.
I forgets, were you on my team during the TF2 tourney Raine? if so, that was a really good game, before we got slaughtered during mach 4…
I’d go if, 1: i had a car or 2: i didnt have a whole lot of stuff to do over fall break, sounds like fun though.
The official map choices and rules can be found here (scroll down a bit) , although we will have free play the entire time.
touche, but still, this server hardly ever get populated, leaving me with a very big job ahead of me after the LAN, by the way, do you plan on attending?

I play almost nightly, and the BRBU servers – if anyone’s interested – do events almost every day.TFTuesdays,
Mod Thursdays,
Friday Night Fights,
PlanetSide Saturdays
Serious Business Sundays.
We’re good people.
Yes, no offense, but this advertising doesnt make my job any easier…
I still added you as a friend on steam.
