Jesus I can barely read that.
This isn’t going to effect anything with Playstation sales. It isn’t going effect Microsoft’s Xbox, as Microsoft is releasing a Blu-Ray player for the 360 in what, May? You think the only title the Wii has for it coming out that everyone is going to want is Brawl? What about Mariokart? What about WiiFit? What about plenty of other titles that TONS of people are going to want and buy because the potential with the Wii controllers is limitless? The Wii is only marketed to Children? Lol, people said this of course as well about the Gamecube, yet it still was a great console for some reason and yet games like Resident Evil still come out for the Wii.
People buy a console to play games and to be entertained. The PS3 has FAILED to become “better” than the Wii in multiple aspects, one in sales and the other in hardware. The PS3’s hardware surely is superb, but why is it that 99% of the games are absolute flops or are multiplatform titles? Why does the PS3 use the weight sensors and BlueTooth (which is mainly a Microsoft technology, btw) “better” than the Wii yet has absolutely failed in all aspects of it so far?
Out of the 8 major exclusive titles that you named, only 4 of those are titles that people are going to want and are titles that people are going to buy. Sure, half is a great number, but you have 4 titles coming out in a year versus a generous amount on both the Wii and 360 side that have already been released or are releasing in the near future such as Mariokart, Brawl, Gears of War 2, etc.
The free DVR attachment is basically going to be free for certain things, it isn’t going to be a DVR for people to use on their actual cable box. The DualShock 3 is nothing special. It’s wireless and has motion features, big whoop? Nobody has done anything with the motion yet and nobody actually wants to.
All your post has done so far is tell me that you know NOTHING about economics and especially the gaming industry, except for the fact that you’re a HUGE Sony/Playstation fanboy and luckily for you, Toshiba and HD-DVD lost the “format war” because they couldn’t sign the major production companies. I guess the makers of Blue-Ray, specifically Sony, finally learned from their mistake of Betamax back in the day.

a huge area i’ve seen with the wii control that no other system can even attempt is the elderly. With their wii bowling and wii sports. Tennis and bowling esp. very little contact, but keeps you active. I know nursing homes that have these for their patrons. Name me another system that does that?

lol i have all systems so i know what they all have to offer and i do play with them all but im on ps3 more it just does more things and it does the same things as the others better….hints why i bring it to school and leave the others at home for my sister to play with my boxes of wii and xbox games….they are *edited* but i dont play for the console and company i play for the games…and i just made alot of money from it and it will continue…you prob. dont have one and u invested in the others heavily and are *edited*ed cause u dont have the balls to admit u f^…..lol

the ps3 does everything the wii does and they are shooting out the games slowly but surely, there is already bowling, skiing, skydiving, and a few others i cant think of at this moment…and they are controled the same way the wii ones are except it doesnt need a *edited* sensor bar, and doesnt f^ if some one walks in front of u

Now, the Wii’s may not be perfect, but it is by no means the inferior one of the bunch. Although props on the Dualshock 3. I still think the PS2 Dualshock controller is one of the best controller designs ever.
Now, I’d hate to throw my towel in the wrong arena here (especially since I don’t agree with a majority of the things in the original post) but this is kind of wrong:

This is why i came to the conclusion that i did in the origanal post…its not like i have somthing against any of the systems, this is just a very extremly valid bit of evidence to support my prediections

Unless you bought in ’03 or ’04 you didn’t make more than 2-3 pts? And this is a very diverse community, to think that no one here has money tied up in the market… shame shame.

Ok, one thing we need to do in this club is stop bashing other systems. All consoles and games are welcome into this club, I could care less which system is better than the other because I think each one of them brings something unique and likeable to the table. So please stop bashing other systems and start talking about what we can do to integrate these systems into our LAN events and how we can make each one of their tournaments better.
I am not pointing fingers, I am just saying everyone needs to do this.

Aside from free-play, they serve no purpose in the LANs.

Fine, than get them to show up at a meeting or join the forums. If there are enough people, I’m sure we can squeeze the PS3 in somewhere. However, unless there are a whole lot of folks that want to see Resistance or something in the tournaments, I doubt they will be set up any time soon–after all, we are trying to scale back on the total number of tournaments.

Tell them about the club and get them involved or to at least attend the meetings. Bring them to the meetings. Well tell people about the meetings by word of mouth to show up or bring them ourselves. It’s how it works.

The point to this whole thing didnt work out the way i planned…i didnt mean to upset anyone things just didnt come out rigth and then i just got angry too…if u follow the posts you can get the idea of my intentions somewhat near the end, so i wont explain it cause im tired of typing.., just relax i have and have always had good intentions for the club…iv been apart of it since it was a baby…i wouldnt be wasting my time to even explain myself if i didnt care, id be playing games or somthing…sorry guys
