Thanks

Now that I have a moment to sit down and think about this, I am using the time to make a thread in dedication to thanking everyone who had a helping hand in making this LAN a success. I say now that if there is anyone I forget to thank that I am sorry, in all honesty, everyone there made a great contribution to the club.

I will start at the beginning, the planning process, thank you everyone that was in attendance at our first meeting in the semester, without you we could not have ever gotten this thing off the ground. Thank you Mike Russel for taking over the MA position and helping getting that going in the right direction. Thank you Shawna Hipps and Thor for assisting in creating the flyers for the event. Thank you Rob Butler for working with the Council Leaders and making sure that what they asked for to be installed on the server was installed and ready for them to use at the LAN. Thank you to everyone who showed up early to help set up, this is a great help, in specific thank you Mike Russel for networking and running the cables, and thank you MasterP for taking care of the power. Thank you NoDice just for being there, your presence helped me out a lot. Thank you Chris Mouchet for keeping me on track. Thank you Brenton Barber for keeping consoles on track and being able to work past problems quickly and efficiently, and thank you Kazka for assisting him with this and for doing a great job running your own tournaments, remember next time (“Just breathe”) . Thank you Jessie Standard for assisting me getting the pizzas out, would have sucked if I had to do it by myself . Thank you Rob Butler for being on call during the LAN so I could call you and you could fix any problems that arose with Tron. Thank you potion for taking great pictures and always being there when I need you to take pictures for prize giving. Thank you Steven Juhlin for taking over the table for me and taking payment from people. Thank you Shawna for sitting there the rest of the time and taking money from people, as you know this position (though boring) is an extremely important part of the LAN.

That is all I can think of now, again if I missed you I am terribly sorry. If you at least showed up to the LAN and just enjoyed playing some games you did a great service to the club because without you guys showing up this thing will never be as successful as it has been, so thanks to all of you once again.
