Hello all, you may know me better by the tag Pink Monkey #16, but I am raising this issue because I am sick of hearing a bunch of losers bag on the few girls that play on this server. I know this really doesn’t affect me, as I am male, but when people give #5 a hard time about being a chick and pwning them, it really makes me angry. Sadly, admins are not always around to catch this abuse.
For example, tonight #5 and I were playing and this guy comes on and blatantly states that by the picture, #5 is ugly and needs to stop spraying her spray. I have never cursed at someone playing CSS that much in my entire life. So I guess I am asking if anyone else here has seen this problem happening here before and if admins could crack down on this it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

IRC, all you have to do is pop in and let us know what’s going on. There are ALWAYS people in IRC who can help.
I was witness to one such ocassion like a week or so ago, I didn’t catch most of the argument as it happened when they were dead and well… I just dont die that early ^^. I just noticed alot of immature bickering so i muted everyone on the server lol… it was like 15 people too, really tedious work… we need a mute team button or something

I don’t think muting was the solution, I think slaps, slays, and kicks (gimps, drugs, blinds, freezes, insert your favorite method of torture here) are the solution. In situations like that, there is usually only one guilty party and then a person defending themselves from them. The point of this post was just to see that the offender is made aware of server rules and punished for infringement.
Like I said, If I had witnessed the whole conversation I would have handled it differently, from what I seen it was just a bunch of immature bickering and name calling so I got *edited*ed and muted everyone.
Unless I witness the offender doing it or get access to the chat logs, theres nothing I can do.

Wait for the certain ppl who are talking to do so and then gag mute appropriately. I just did this in 1.6 server.
