Posting

Let’s start a *edited* storm… that’s what I was thinking just now.

No but really, I’m guessing most people on these forums(-bracket), are intelligent college students or higher, and I know most have very excellent opinions. Whether or not YOU think it’s excellent, i’m sure someone here does. Most posts are made with a fair amount of thought behind them.

With this said I think we should all be a little more accepting of counter-active posts, not counter-productive, but the devil’s advocate posts. There’s always a back cover to a book. Sometimes it’s not that interesting, but usually it is. I try and think about both sides of things when I post, usually i miss a big area shaded behind a ball of res inside my brain. Which is why I love reading counter-active arguments about things I haven’t thought of, or just haven’t given much thought about. I don’t think people should be crucified for voicing their opinions. I don’t want any examples of anything posted in this thread, I think this is a great time to move forward and all be better post-it-noters.

If you don’t like a post – attack the message, not the messenger. It doesn’t do anyone any good to call people names and such because they have different ideas. Hitler did that, and he called them jews… and we all know what happened there….

There have been some very very very interesting and fun debates in these forums. I’ve gone back and read most of the posts on almost all the threads on this forum cause of that reason. So let’s debate like the mature adults we are.
