We need some prizes, albeit more suitable and good ones, for the console tournies.. so list your prospects for console sponsorships. ‘Nuff said.
Also provide a suggestion for the prize you’d like from them.

How about Logitech? They don’t provide sound devices only so it wouldn’t interfere with our SteelSeries sponsorship, would it?
HP and IBM are not necessarily gaming companies and probably will not sponsor a LAN event, not to mention for consoles. Because consoles are primarily dependent on the company that produces them (Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo) they are ridiculous to find sponsors for. Luckily more companies are able to develop devices and games for the consoles.
One can just go to http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList….mp;N=2062760000 and gather a list of consoles as well as accessories and the companies developing the accessories.
The only other thing I could suggest is see if some developer would be willing to give us a copy a game for free. you know.. play it at the tourney or whatever get exposure. and winner gets a copy.
Or have RedOctane sponsor us and winner gets a copy of Guitar Hero. x.x It’s all I really want. Other than H3.
Kuros asked me before to make a list.. so I’m simply opening that up to more suggestions.

I’m going to combine consoles into one council leader that’s club active. This will help me out A LOT come LAN time. I can’t keep doing it ALL by myself. It’s getting too big to moderate 12 tournaments with one person.
So yeah.. this thread kinda faded fast. But it is necessary. Also looking for input from any new active console players.

but big on shipping so prob needs to be local… but never hurts to try
Accessorize. Those companies are probably the best bet for hope for sponsering. The game companies probably wont find it worth their time. Being out in the middle of bfe is going to make for no easier of a task.
