SpectatorI’m out forever, peace folks. I had a lot of fun playing source and made a lot of friends which is cool. I hate the school though, it bored me to tears which resulted in playing a lot of source for better/worse. Along the way I realized that there is always something you could have done better, in any situation, no matter what, which is good. Also that you really don’t need to be in college to truly educate yourself. In all honesty I’ma go wander the earth like jules or cain and read a lot and work here and there and think a good deal when I have the means shortly. Consequently I don’t think I will be paying for or possessing an internet connection again,I’m guessing that means good bye. Have fun and get along, ain’t nothing here worth getting sore at each other over. I guess remove my executive access, not going to be running for anything. Oh and Buddha and Jamboree both have access to my steam account, might want to remove admin priviledges from it, my steamid is around the site somewhere I believe, ranking or records and what not.

Anyways sometimes being a wanderer is the best thing especially for someone like you, you are definitely deep when it comes to philosophy type stuff. Read a lot of books and enjoy life as much as you can, hopefully we’ll see each other again somewhere along the road

SpectatorGood luck and take care of yourself.
You’ll probably learn a lot more doing that then you probably would in school. At least they’ll be more interesting things, I think.
Take care.

SpectatorI know I don’t know you basically at all and you don’t know me, but here’s my two cents. I don’t know how close you are to getting the college degree, but suck it up and finish it (where ever you choose). I have seen too many people drop out with not much left to do, just cause they are bored or tired of classes and all that *edited*. Too many wasted minds and lives.
I’m in law school now, and I have 3 siblings, I am the second to last in age, but we are all old enough to have graduated undergraduate. Of the 4, I am the only one to complete undergrad, all 3 others have started and not finished. The oldest, my sister lives at home with my mom, with her husband, a plumber, and her two kids. She attended 1 and a half years of college. She tried at 3 different colleges before giving up. My older brother is in Federal Prison, but has tried college 3 times as well, and is pretty *edited* close, but he gave up the semester before he got picked up by the Feds. My younger brother is one semester away from graduating, and decided he wanted to move home, and now doesn’t have a job or any real direction in life.
That’s just my family, and I have a lot of friends from school that have done the same thing. Its a crying shame (literally) to see people drop out when they are close – it makes a huge difference to employers and your pay if you have a college degree. I urge you to stick it out, or return in the not too distant future. I know that people need soul searching, and I support that, but please don’t let this ruin your life. Undergraduate college is literally the easiest thing you will ever do, and the most fun you will have. I regret not taking more time for myself in undergraduate to do things I wanted to do.
Sorry for the complete rant, but I just learned that my little brother was dropping out with only one semester left, and this kinda goes to my heart. Just think about it, college is easy, its fun, and it makes a world of a difference to your career and life.
…end rant…and good luck in all your travels and thoughts, and just let the wind take you where it will.

SpectatorI agree with peanut, Of the 30 of so good friends i meet my freshmen year their is only 3 of us that are still here and graduating next semester. Most of the other 27ish said they were ether going to take a semester off or go to a CC. All of which have full time jobs and doesent look any of them are ever going to seek collage again… Maby one of the reasons you are droping is because you dont see what a diploma does twards what you wont to do.. and with my degree it really shows nothing other than the fact that i never gave up and quit. as with most people degrees what they learn in school VERY very rarely use what they are tought in the classroom. (Ask around, Its True.) Also not sure what “you like” to do for fun,, or what you wish Western would have, But their are alot of things going on around campus, just cant be shy, step out of the shell and start seeking new endeavors. As some have pointed out here that alot of us “gamers” at western are found board often, if you all just hang out outside the 0110101 world theirs plenty of things to be had. As a final note i wish you the best with your choices and take care of yourself/friends/family, hopefully see you at the next LAN.
I leave you with a quote from Zig Ziglar “Success and happiness are not matters of chance but choice.”

SpectatorI like you because it meant that I didn’t have to do anything. You took something that I worked my *edited* off to create and made it even better. You sincerely cared about this club and it’s members and I think you are a kickass dude for that. Outside the club you were a great guy and a good friend. I hope that life brings some kickass travels your way, because you’ve earned it. Thanks for the good times.
